Congrads for Wlad ... a very impressive win .. anytime a fighter comes back to dominate a former opponent who was so difficult the first time it is a big accomplishment ... he has mastered a ring style that truly maximizes his strengths and minimizes his weak chin and cut prove skin ... in addition, he showed that when he opens up he is a huge two handed puncher ... last night we saw him flatten a solid chinned tank, a big difference than taking out a cruiserweight ... that was big time super heavyweight power.

I definitely do not believe Wlad would have been nearly as successful if he fought in the era of Lewis, Tyson, Holyfield or Bowe. However he must be given credit for a very successful career. He is also a credit to the sport in every way.

That´s not an observation based on one fight but over the course over his last fights. In every fight he slipped a bit. Not much but a tad. This sums up.

    Tyson 80%
    Bowe 60%
    Holyfield 50%
    Lewis 30%

Those are the chances I think Wlad has against those 4 in the 90s.

I missed the "Hide" fight with V.K....:deal

I think Al Sos fought the fight of his life last May with Vitali.... He fell short, but proved game as hell.... His conditioning was awesome....

Peter was in good shape and confident coming in. It was a good win for wlad. I don't know of any current contender who could offer much more of a fight.

Your last sentence seems a bit out of the blue, unrelated to the rest of your (reasonable) post.

Like you just had to get it out there.

    Again.

And not too many would disagree that Wlad has better skills and is more polished than Vitali.

I don't think wlad has better skills as a pro than his brother. Wlad has never shown me what vitali showed against Lewis.

It was a one-sided fight, but Wlad showed no trouble under pressure and just brutalized Peter. I have a lot of respect for Peter, taking those shots until he had absolutely nothing left, and ultimately just got annihilated... felt a bit sorry for him, his corner could've stopped it a bit earlier.

There's no way Haye would've lasted more than a few rounds if he took the same. But then again, Peter is no defensive wizard.

That was quite a while back.

Vitali looked markedly slower and rustier in his last outing.

TKO 10 has now been changed by Boxrec to "KO 10". Wlad the first man to officially knockout Sam Peter!

i hope people will recognize it more after both Brothers will hang up their gloves.

"greatness" is such a strong word. maybe just "respect" for them would be enough.

Good cause it's a no-brainer call. :deal Peter flat on his back not going anywhere for the time being, face swollen like allergic reaction there was nothing "TKO" about it. KO all the way :good
