I'm pretty sure he's been on showtime. But I think Wladimir is undoubtably the bigger name, though Haye is in a better negotiating position than last year. Realistically both need each other, a combination of Haye, Wladimir and Vitali Klitschko is the only superfight in the heavyweight division.

 

If you're talking about Hayden Panetierre, it's not "awhile back", it's right now. Wald is almost daily appearing on all US tabloid websites these days, which obviously makes more people aware of who he is. As for "Almost noone would know who he is" before, that's laughable, considering that he sold out MSG and Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City.

Use your brain for a second. Are there many Russian fans on these boards? How about German ones? No! Well, where do you think the Klit fans on ESB hail from? That's right! They're from the US. Sure, he's not extremely popular, but most of his right how shown on HBO and he has a much better chance of retuning to HBO if he can get a fight anybody cares about.
