Ruiz and Barrett were able to land their jabs pretty consistently on Haye, and Haye didn't look all that great against the ancient Ruiz. Wladimir is taller, faster, and rangier than either Ruiz or Barrett, and if Haye backs up in straight lines with his hands down it will be a long, or short, night.

this is awesome it just shows how underrated wlad is by american fans, this is the champ calling out the " dangereous" challenger, this never happens in boxing, this just proves that these guys will fight anyone no questions asked, and there lack of competition isnt there fault, they should still be considered atg's, all they do is beat everyone placed in front of them and ussually by knockout

As I remember it, the Wlad-Haye fight was signed and set, then Haye pulled out with an injury.

So the terms cant have been unacceptable, since Haye accepted them and was training - and was a few weeks away from fighting.

It was only after Haye announced his fight with Valuev in the last stages of finalizing a deal with Vitali that he brought up the "unfair terms" stuff, but at the same time he was saying Valuev was an "easier" opponent.

Of course Haye is to blame. He pulled out of a fight just a month or less (I think) before it was set to go ahead, when him and Wlad were training.
He said he was injured, so he deserves the benefit of the doubt. EXCEPT later he implied it was also to do with "bad terms".

Anyone who signs for a fight then pulls out because they've changed their mind on the terms of the contract is an unprofessional and stupid person, clearly.
Unprofessional for signing something they didn't want to, then ****ing everyone around.
And stupid for signing in the first place.

I love that sh*t!!! That is the funniest thing Wladimir has ever done. I hope Haye will man up and fight Wladimir. Klitschko by KO if it happens.

I dont see why Haye should fight Wlad for no money (due to Setanta going bust) when he is the underdog. Anyone who pulls out of a fight due to a change of earning potental has my full support especially when facing a boxer as accomplished as Wlad.:good

That fight has NO public demand and it would be a better world without it. I'll have to root for Wladmir if this fight happens. Haye said he would be treated like a "slave" in the Klitschko contracts but if that's the case he should've just said that he wasn't being treated fair and deny ever signing it instead of faking a back injury which I think he did fake it.

Because Wlad has consistently shown an ability to draw crowds wherever he fights, even in America he has never done less than 14,000 people, which is more than Haye drew for his fight with Barrett. Wlad is the champion. Wlad's fights are broadcast in over 110 countries and average north of 400 million viewers. Simply put, Wladimir is a much bigger star than Haye, no matter what the UK market thinks.
