The money is not, nor has it ever been in PPV. The EPL and NFL aren't on PPV and they are the two richest leagues on the planet. Wladimir, like all the German promoters, sells the rights to his fights to different television networks, which is where you make real money.

and the winner gets 100% of the gate.

 

Either Klitschko can sell out stadiums in Germany even if they're fighting against Mary Poppins, they don't need Haye to do it.

The only benefit of fighting Haye is to reach out to the English audience and Haye couldn't secure the venue like he claimed he would & he had no belt at the time.

Even now, with the highly tainted WBA strap, he doesn't have the marketing appeal he thinks he does and he'll probably demand 50/50 when he deserves more like 60/40 or 65/35 in Wlad's favor.
