Could Shavers take a Wlad half hook-jab? :think

Shavers got blasted by CW Quarry and even worse, stopped by the crude Ron Stander  Only snowballs chance in hell ES has is if he can land a big punch early. Shavers had stamina issues too.

Loved Shavers fights but this is another nostalgic longing for when the US dominated the HW div. threads. Except maybe for Foreman, NONE of the 70s era HWs would even be competitive vs top modern HWs.

Unless Shavers could starch Klit with one punch (possible? yes barely), I don't see it happening. Wlad has really improved his defensive game. Shavers knocks him down, Wlad will be on his bicycle like a mother ****er. Acorn will wear himself out trying to go in for the finish.

Shavers shouldn't even be in the same sentence as Wladimir, if hater dicks who never even saw one Shavers fight except on you tube, are saying he would beat Wladimir, then he beats Lewis, Ali and the rest also. Reality is he'd be softened up and KO'd pretty easily as the one dimensional slugger he was.

Any decent HW has the power to knock out Wlad. He doesn't exactly have a granite chin.

Your theory is based on the idea any powerful fighter 'just has to land' on Wlad and then he will fall apart. Ever wonder why Wlad hasn't been beaten nor knocked down in what like 7 years?

Wlad by wide UD 95 times out of 100. Shavers by KO the other 5.

Earnie has one hell of a puncher's chance here. But I doubt Wlad engages enough to get clipped. Still, it would only take one shot.

The reason he has not been down in 7 years is easy. First off his non legal holding he does in fights. Anytime someone is close enough to hit him he holds on like a scared *****. ALso he has been taking easy fights. WLad has been very careful who he fights. David Haye was the only risky fight he took in those 7 years. Sadly both Haye and WLad fought scared in there fight and that is why Haye didn't win. All Haye had to do is land one major shot and it would have been over. Shavers would have koed Wlad in round one. Wlad does not have the chin to compete in those days. Wlad is way overrated by some. The reason he has done so well because he takes easy fights.Notice how he never gave Sanders a rematch? If Wlad would have fought Sanders again the result would have been the same. WLad waited until Brewster was way over the hill before he rematched him. Purity and Sanders both beat WLads ass and he was to scared to fight them again. TOS got screwed by WLad too.. He put wlad on his ass and had him in trouble. Steward ripped Wlads cut open more to make sure the fight was stopped. I know you always have these Klitschko fans claim Vitali's fight with Lewis was stopped to early even tho his eye was about to fall out. They were fine with Wlads fight with TOS being stopped and the cut was not near as bad. TOS would have ended up winning that fight and thats why Steward had it stopped.

If you can't work out why the stats are misleading and predicting true power is false I've got a lotto system to sell you...

To say Shavers could turn the trick against a fighter of Wlad's calibre when he failed to do so against the likes of Berbick, Mercado, and Lyle, is making too much of his ability to finish guys he had hurt.

Unless Wlad truly craps his pants when he gets knocked down, he likely weathers the storm and wears Shavers out for a stoppage.

Brewster lost to Ettiene and Shufford. Sanders lost to Nate Tubbs, yet both these guys beat Wlad. This is the problem with triangle theories, people think that one fight translates to another. To rehash, I would bet ALL my money on Wlad, but if Shavers landed hard he could put Wlad in panic mode and turn the trick, he had that kind of power.
