Wladimir Klitschko and Jean-Marc Mormeck will fight on December 10 at the Esprit Arena in Dusseldorf, Germany. 'I would compare him with Mike Tyson; he is never going backwards like David Haye (did),' added Klitschko, who is expected to bring a 15-kilogram advantage into the ring. Mormeck, who moved up to the heavyweight class in December 2009 after a two-year break from the sport, said Klitschko was vulnerable, but the 35-year-old Ukrainian has heard it all before. 'Everyone has a plan, until they get hit,' Klitschko added. Mormeck, 39, said, 'He (Klitschko) has something that I want and I have to break his face to get it,' the French fighter said. 'I know that he does not like to be hit. I have said it already and I mean it, he has a glass chin." Klitschko replied: 'I will find out what your chin is made of. Everyone has a plan, until they get hit,' Klitschko added. Sounds like an easy night for Klitschko. Much taller, bigger, more powerful, and younger. Mormeck was a great cruiserweight, but will struggle. He's had 3 heavyweight fights since losing to Haye, with points victories over journeymen Vinny Maddalone, Fres Oquendo and 20th ranked heavyweight (BoxRec.com) Timur Ibragimov.
I can imagine these two going to archives of big build ups with trashtalk and picking out there quotes. Like the fight this build up is cringeworthy and ****!
woeful. the krauts will lap it up though as usual and wladamir will add another few million to his bank balance.
At least Wlad likes to fight, more than can be said for most of the pick and choosers around the top of the sport. Hopefully Mormeck comes and swings for a few rounds and has a go because he has no chance of a decision. Maybe Wlad will stop him with a 1-2 if hes going to come slowly right up the middle and under 6 rounds.
I can't, to be honest. At least Haye stuck to the plan and got through the fight unscathed. You could almost say he dictated the course of the fight... Mormeck will swing a few wild lunges in the first round or two then will get battered, quite severely. It will be better to watch, though.
:rofl:rofl:rofl "did he peform well in his heavyweight championship of the world contest" "he came through unscathed" lol pal i could dictate the pace vs Jack Dempsey, if the pace invovled me in a constant state of retreat.
I agree but getting KTFO in 4 would be better than what Haye achieved. Haye did as little as possible to win the fight and then blamed his toe, I can at least imagine Mormeck throwing a couple of punches and just being KTFO instead of the embarrassent that Haye gave British boxing.
Well, it would be hard to do much worse than Haye did, that's true. Haye was awful. He produced a disgusting money-grubbing, cowardly performance. Mormeck is a guy that actually LOST to David Haye though. And he's become no better since then - in fact, he's probably gone downhill ! He's a horrible opponent for Klitschko.
