I know it is heresy but this is how I see it unfolding. Despite his pressuring tactics, Frazier is too small and relatively weak to beat Wlad with his usual game plan. He gets picked apart with jabs and then thumped with the rights as the rounds wear on. I would bet on it.

Yeah, but Joe is heart and soul enhanced. He's got the guts.

Solid points. Frazier did not always start out like a house on fire, and would need to get in close to score. I think Joe did not take the best punch but lets forget about that for a moment. It is fact that Frazier struggled / did not look great with top 5-15ish large heavies in his time. Most notably Mathis and Bugner.

I think Wlad now is MUCH better than than he was when he was caught by Sanders, and lost to Brewster. Sorry Classic fans, Wlad via TKO.

I still don't know who wins, but I can't help but feel that Joe would have a hard time landing flush on Wlad. The reach factor would be collosal, and Wlad utilizes a well polished jab and a cautious style. In addition, he would be a bear for Frazier in the clinches with all that added size and strength, plus those jabs and crosses would have some power behind them, more so than Ali's or Ellis'. Its true that Wlad has struggled or lost to fighters who threw a good left hook, but he's also beaten a fair number of lefty's as well. Its also possible that with all the reaching upward, Frazier's shots would lose some of their power along the way, and frankly he wasn't exactly a one punch type of guy... Joe often won his bouts by outworking, outmoving, and breaking down his opponents over the course of several rounds.. That being said, he'd have to work EXTREMELY hard to pressure Klit, and I don't know that he could keep that up for long, especially while eating a lot of hard jabs, crosses and counterpunches from the outside.....The Sanders fight might compel people to make Wlad an underdog, but let's face it... Klits has improved dramatically since that loss, nearly 8 years ago, and I can't see anything that Joe has in common with Sanders asside from utilizing the left very well. Sanders was a big man with a big punch, and unlike Joe, was a fast starter, who fought a complacent Wlad....

I'll give Joe a chance out of respect, but I don't think I'd bet money him..

Wlad's reach is no bigger than Ali's, he was not nearly as fast and took no where near the same punch. Joe got through to Ali. He'd rip Wlad up.

YEs but its harder punching up and he hits allot harder, can Frazier take Wlads bombs on the way in? He couldn't take Foreman's

Their reach was close.. Ali's was 80" while Wlad's was 81".. Still Ali gave Frazier plenty of problems with the reach he had, and while height has nothing to do with arm length, it would still be a factor.. Joe would still have to reach higher to hit Klit, taking some of the sting out of his shots, while also giving Wlad more time to back away. The power behind Klit's shots would also be a factor... Furthermore, while Ali was quicker than Wlad, the version who Frazier fought and lost to twice, was not the lightening fast one of the 60's....

I can see Frazier getting caught with something early (at any point, really, but more likely early), and I can also see Frazier's pressure eroding Wlad away.

I think it depends on what mode Wlad is an- if it's the cautious, too- respectful Wlad, he could get worn down and stopped, or at best win a boring decision.

If it's the confident champ who isn't afraid to let his hands go, everyone goes home early, with Wlad winning. Against that Wlad, the best Frazier can do is manage a close decision win and at worst, like I said- early stoppage by Wlad.

Wlad is enormous, athletic, smart, a good boxer and a huge puncher. He still panics under fire, but he's great at managing distance and rarely gets hit with anything of consequence.

He might be just too tall of an order for Joe to handle. Maybe. I still wouldn't bet against Frazier, as heart, will, and pressure can fill a lot of gaps in other areas.

This is coming from one of the biggest Frazier fans out there, so I'm admittedly biased.

Wlad's body would be beat bright red ... I think he'd have a huge problem with Joe's height and style ... I'm just not a big Wlad guy ... too many memories of him getting flattened. He has no chin.

power puncher can i put a point , i dont see wlad starting as aggressive as foreman that for me would allow frazier to get into his fight avoid the jab which although is a fine jab it is not the fastest jab and work wlads body which would cause wlad to either hang on or back up with his arms held out in front of himself in a defensive posture and wlad when faced with a fresh aggressive opponent i am sure would think defence first again allowing frazier to work .which would bring the ref into the fight perez from the second ali/frazier fight would be the ref that wlads camp would pray for i would imagine
