It's funny how this fight is so far away, like as if it's some huge event to look forward to.

It would surely be at least on Tyson-Douglas level. The quality difference is even bigger than it was between Tyson and Douglas so yeah, it would be the biggest upset to my knowledge.

 

Leapai has very side punches and is short...............slow as a snail, has power, but you have to land your big punch if you want to hurt your opponent and Vlad has a really good defense.............Vlad is a great counter-puncher, Leapai is easy to counter.............

 

Tell us about his defensive repertoire. Does he slip punches, Bob and weave, lots of head movement, parry and catch punches?

Wlad has a great defense you ****ing tool. He hardly gets hit cleanly.

 

Not sure why the hell a 6'6" fighter would bob and weave? Wlad does parry punches very well, one of the reasons he hardley gets hit clean, especially against shorter fighters. When you reach up for him, he'll just swat your glove down. Most notably, I think he parried almost every single jab Sultan threw at him.

 

No, he just pulls straight back and that is not advisable against somebody who can throw more than a single punch.. Otherwise all he's doing is holding on for his life.

Sad state of affairs when you have to bring up his non fight against Sultan in order to complement him.

Really, I think he did a little bobbing and weaving in the first Thompson match, makes sense with Thompson having longer arms and outjabbing him.

Other than that the image of Wlad bobbing and weaving agianst a guy 6 inches shorter would be hilarious.
