K2 have control over everything. Judges, doctors, we can all see how the refs been bought to keep fighters from hitting Wlad. Even Haye wasn't allowed a proper ring entrance and was sent through the crowd on a path of mud.

Remember when Vitali made Danny Williams shave his beard off despite it being part of his religious beliefs, says it all about the kind of people you're dealing with.

    your fcuking clueless

BTW... we walked through the mud at the Haye fight as well dumbaas. We had just as many issues with the crowd as Haye..... and most were drunk ass brits causing issues for BOTH fighters getting to the ring

but I'm sure you will say you know more about that even though I was there AND I was one of the guys actually walking to the ring that night in the mud:patsch:patsch:deal

I've never seen a boxer get so much hate for fighting a MAND!!!

blame Boystov for losing a "tuneup fight" and the WBO for putting Leapai #1

    unreal!

As long as he fights three times this year, he definitely should fight Leapai and keep the belt.

If he beats Leapai and then waits until late fall to fight Pulev, ends up with just two fights in 2014 I'll be disappointed.

Something like 1) Leapai 2) Pulev, and 3) voluntary with Fury/Adamek/Wilder/Solis/Arreola would add up to a good year.

    Thats messed up.

I do remember when Byrd beat Vitali he was forced to put up his WBO title agaist Wlad straight away. He didn't have any options himself despite being the WBO champion.
How did Wlad get an immediate fight. Did he manage to work his way up to mando challenger in 4 months..
He was outside the Ring top 10 at the time.
And clowns actually think they have no say in things:nut

I know, Williams was horribly outmatched and was always going to get KO'd and despite being a genuinely nice guy, this wasn't enough for Vitali and his team, they also had to mock Williams personal beliefs and use these against him to publicly humiliate him before the fight.:-(

Wlad wouldn't ever drop the WBO belt to avoid this fight, huh?

I guess it'd be worth it if there were some sort of big fight on the table (Haye or Povetkin hadn't happened yet, Wilder or Fury exotic type deal, Pulev randomly stepping up, etc.) but that isn't the case.

One would think that if Wlad tremendously cared about legacy over financial footing, which really he shouldn't, that he would give up a slight chunk of his purse to make a big contribution to the challenger to make it go down. Regardless of none of them wanting to fight, they totally would if Wlad probably gave up 10-15% more than usual of his purse to them. Not that he should do that, but I guess that's why some haters *****.

I like Wladdy holding the belts and potentially scooping the WBC up some time soon-ish if/when Vitali gives it up. So fighting Leapai is whatever given the above but at some point, CHEF, you must admit that if you take out Haye and Povetkin, his post-Chagaev run is historically awful... I like and appreciate both those wins so that's not fair, but the quality after that is dreadful.

see the problem is so many guys think that Wilder, fury, arreola, etcetc... are just standing and begging for a contract.... just not true. Wlad wants to hold the belt, take care of his mand then fight the top dogs.......

but as always.... the top dogs bark a lot but behind the closed doors its a different story when its time to really sit down and talk contract and dates......

i know many will say "bull**** chef" but its true

    :good

Assuming he puts Takem away easily during January you'd think he's pretty close to a title shot then himself. I see him as the dark horse amongst the prospects.

Boystov vrs. Leapai should never have been an eliminator at all. Ridiculous that Leapai is elevated to mandatory status without making a 2nd fight.

Wlad should fight Pulev next. Pulev is pretty much the last man standing.

But I imagine Wlad's pretty busy with the wedding and the political turmoil so he's happy to get a pushover opponent for March and rationalize it as a mandatory.
