Wlad wasn't looking to blast out Leapai, that is not his style. People saying other champion fighters would have done it quicker, so what. Leapia was a 250lb solid guy, he had to be given some respect.

LOL, Wlad gets no respect sometimes. Is it his fault that no-one can challenge him?

Wlad would hold his own with ANY heavyweight champion - Lewis, Tyson, Frazier, Ali, Foreman. He's just HUGE and very skilled for his size. I'm not sure ANY of these greats woulld beat him, he's created a new division - SUPER HEAVYWEIGHT.

It's just difficult to deal with someone so big, athletic who has tremendous punching power and great speed for his size. David Haye was a very skilled boxer and talked a big game but what happened when he faced Wlad? He soon found out he was dealing with someone who belongs in a different division, it was like a light heavyweight fighting a heavyweight.

Don't be hating on Wlad for being domiinant, blame the rest of the heavyweight division for failing to deal with him.

Wlad fights second rate fighters most of the time. It's about time he took on some better fighters.

It's always funny, because everyone blame's his opponents.. but Leapai didn't fight that way against Boystov.... it was Wlad... Wlad has way with him.

I thought Klitschko looked excellent tonight. He clearly won every second of all five rounds. In the 1st, he used his jab as a rangefinder, mixed in with several single hard rights; the knockdown in the round came from two hard jabs followed by a sweeping right that glanced over Leapai's head, and probably should have been ruled a slip. In the 2nd, he landed numerous power jabs mixed with occasional hard rights. In the 3rd, he actually boxed very fluidly, landing multiple hard left-right and right-left combos during the first half of the round, and a few big right hands in the second half. In the 4th, he landed numerous power jabs mixed with frequent hard rights throughout the round, and he hurt Leapai for the first time in the fight with a big right hand with 30 seconds left. In the 5th and final round, Klitschko landed 5 big rights in about a 12-second period halfway through the round for the first knockdown of the round, and then a sweeping left hook followed by another big right resulted in the second knockdown and the end of the fight.

Throughout the fight, Klitschko fought from a comfortable distance, maintaining an excellent workrate, and landing his power lefts and rights to the head at a very high rate. (His work to the body consisted of two rights during the entire fight.) Leapai was simply physically overmatched. Mostly he stood still in the pocket eating punches, and his only offense consisted of rare wild lunges inside while throwing single wild looping punches. Those rare lunges thankfully resulted in Klitschko only clinching Leapai around the head about 3-4 times in the entire fight. CompuBox had Klitschko landing 147 punches in the fight, compared to only 10 for Leapai, which sums up the fight well enough. Now that Klitschko has made his WBO mandatory, presumably his next fight will be his IBF mandatory vs Pulev, hopefully during the summer. Pulev is easily a Top Five world heavyweight, but on tonight's showing, Klitschko will be unstoppable for the foreseeable future.

    Sure he would.

Joe's last 15 fights were against guys who didn't even weigh 200 pounds

Tyson Fury gives Wlad a proper fight at least, Collins and Tyson were right their are better fights out there for him and he doesn't want to take them to busy fighting **** like Lepai

Mate fury was in ****ing awful shape last fight out, was gassing by round 2 or so and wlad would have KOed him even quicker then he did Lepai tonight. Fury is right he is bigger, but he seems to forget he will have never have been in with any one like wlad throwing huge painful jabs one after another, don't know about most of you, but I don't see fury liking that one bit or being able to do anything about it before getting taking out.

I've seen many of Wlad's opponents talk a big game and then during the fight, they hardly throw punches and look out of sorts. That jab is deadly and opponents are very wary of that steelhammer Wlad has.

He does have a glass chin but after working with Emanuel Steward, he has learned to avoid getting hit and keep his opponents at bay by using the jab and making them worry about his power. He is similar to Lennox Lewis - big, fast, strong and incerdibly skilled for his size but witha weak chin.

That's what most of these posters seem to not understand. This guy Wlad fought is 250 pounds of muscle with a knockout heavyweight punch. Mike Tyson talks about it all the time. The modern heavyweights are so much bigger and stronger than the heavyweights of the past that comparisons are silly. Tyson readily admitted just recently when interviewed alongside Ronda Rousey that the Klitchkos are just too big and strong for past heavyweights to compete effectively against. Deal with it dudes.
