Just like Tyson said, everyone has a plan until they get hit in the mouth.

Leapai and the dozens of other fighters who've looked like this against Wlad didn't choose to fight like that because it was the plan A that they worked on all through training camp.

    Wlad's still got it.
But, this was a **** fight.
One of the worst title fights I have seen in over 30 years (and there have been quite a few stinkers).
Heavyweight is crappola since a few years, not Wlads fault. But really, how does this **** add to his resume ?
Wlad said recently he might go on (with suh mismatches ?) for another 10 years.
Hope some real contenders arise, allowing Wlad to cements his legacy. Testing himself against adversity and digging really deep to give us some classics (none on his resume so far).
Despite my criticism I honestly think that (short of a lucky punch(es)) no one beats Wlad right now. H2H Wladimir does very well against the all time greats, H2H Wlad is probably close top ten.
Due to lack of competition/adversity is difficult to position Wladimir heavyweight ATG.

Anyway **** fight. Wlad partly responsible, could have closed the show in round one or two, to display champion dominance.
Performance evaluation... 2 out of ten.. i.e. poor. Difficult to remember the last heavyweight champion that had such a run of weak opponents.
Like Wlad, hope he decides to rescue his legacy.

Povetkin is poor now?..which was only just before Leapai..so that run is..well.....a run of one.

Saw the replay. Leapai didn't land anything. He just stood on Wlads foot.

Wlad's muscle structure, while impressive does not look like muscles that juicers build up. Those muscles are huge and slab like. Wlad's arms and shoulder muscles are unusually large but a lot of athletic men who do physical work develop these. Wlad's legs are on the skinny side. Noway is he a juicer. He lacks the massiveness of those steroid monkeys.
