My question didn't get answered: Why did Wladimir stumble in that one round? I think it was between rounds 8-10.

Wlad was more concerned with bullying and humiliating Povetkin today. Not my favorite Wlad performance, but he got what he was looking for.

the hell. yeah we all get it Klitschko holds 56 thousand times a round, but Povetkin tried no variation in his attack. He changed nothing up. He didn't hit Wlad's body. He didn't rip up one uppercut. Ron Stander would do just as well vs Klitschko.

All the whining and crying here is done by a bunch of people who have never been in a boxing gym.

Wlad is a top 10 ATG and dominated once again. Prime Corrie Sanders would get ripped apart by this version of Wlad.

Gotta say the only thing that went any different from how I expected was that I thought at least Sasha would try and force his way inside more effectively. Thing is, I actually think he tried, especially in a few of the early rounds. It ain't pretty but then it ain't me eating that jab jab half hook with 240 odd pounds of Ukrainian behind it.

Gahhhh... I got so bored I nearly ate my own eyes. I like the Ks, I truly do, but can't help thinking sometimes that the sport would be served best by having an upper size limit.

Check your facts... Wlad has had the IBF, a real legit belt, since April 2006 when he beat Chris Byrd. The IBF belt that Byrd won in a fight with Holyfield in 2002.

So, yes.. 7 years as a legit champ.

The most blatant display of cheating I have seen in a long time.

Don't anybody try to tell me Wlad is a gentleman.

The ref must be related to CJ Ross.

In the ring? Hell no he's no gentlemen.

I never understood that criticism of him. He's a fighter and he'll do what it takes to win, legal or bullying. Tonight, it was all about humiliating a guy he didn't like for 12 rounds in front of his home fans. The charity work's for after the fight.

Well, ain't really fair to make assumptions 'bout people, but in the end Wlad did what he had to, dominated and yes, I kinda agree, this Wlad would have beaten Sanders (though perhaps 'ripped apart' slightly oversells Wlads technique).

Top 10 ATG HW ? Certainly hovering thereabouts for my money. H2H ?...Yeah , I'd go for that.

Someone tell me why Wlad didn't atleast land more than two right hands. Its like he was holding back almost all of his tools except jabbing and a 20% power left hook. After nearly KO-ing pov in round7/8 cant remember which, hitting him as they were clinching, he never did it again and let the fight peter out. Something was just a bit fishy about it is all I'm gonna say.

You really think he was scared of getting clipped by Povetkin on the countershot? After taking Pov's legs away completely and throwing him around like a little child... Easily avoiding every blatantly telegraphed punch Pov even attempted?

Maybe it had more to do with not wanting to KO Pov infront of the fans in Moscow and potentially looking like the bad guy. **** knows.

I really feel that Wlad could have gotten him out of there at anytime he wanted.

WHy did Wlad go to Russia in any case?

Agreed! I was certain that the KO was coming after round 7, but there was something strange here, seemed like he did not wan't to KO Povetkin......
