Povetkin is doomed. I see Wlad beating the crap out of him easily.

It DID. But then it stopped and now it doesn't have it anymore. Although almighty infallible boxrec does have Harrison/Haye listed. :admin

I can only hope all this exitement is sarcastic.

Another one sided beatdown for Wlad. Although ill be interested to see how Atlas reacts in Povetkins corner.

Wlad is fighting an undefeated mandatory with the best current HW record of any non - belt holder. Haye takes on Harrison...

Wlad was ready to blast Povetkin out of the ring a full 2 years ago.

But Povetkin then on short notice claimed he "tripped over a tree root in the Moscow forests and injured his ankle" (I kid you not) so here we are two full years later and we still don't know if Povetkin is ready to finally challenge Wlad and get in the ring with him.

Team K2 and team Povetkin are still busy finding date and location. Team K2 tries to get the Frankfurt arena secured - they need two saturday dates. Thanks to the soccer season 2010/11, they get either one OR the other date, but definitely not both.

Team Povetkin tries to get the event in Moscow, but a theatre of 17,000 seats will not provide that much gate money as a 65,000 seat arena in Germany will provide.

If the parties cannot reach an agreement, it could result in a purse bid (which K2 should be able to win).

So, if Povetkin does not delay or duck the fight, it should be in Sep 2010 in Frankfurt.
