Great! When Haye pulled out the first time, Wlad fought the second best in Chagaev. Now that Haye avoids him for the second time, he again fights the second best: Alexander Povetkin.

    Can't wait! :happy

Russian authorities didn't want VK vs Valuev fight to happen (I suspect Valuev got payed for actually not fighting based on him rejecting the most lucrative offer of his career). They've also been intervening to prevent WK vs Povetkin for quite some time now
Sounds to conspiracy-like? Well, not when it comes to the possibility of a top Russian boxer losing to a Ukrainian one. A blown-out-of-proportion big brother ego is still very much a deciding factor in Russia - Ukraine relationship and sport is the tool of the Russian propaganda brainwashing machine.
Nevertheless, I hope that this fight goes ahead this time around.

Povetkin has not shot at all. To begin with, he is just to green. With just about 19 professional fights, he ain't ready for an accomplished champ like Wlad who has over 50 fights. Then, Povetkin's defense is not good enough against the offensive arsenal of Wlad. Wlad by mid to late round KO. Another easy fight for Wlad.Teddy won't change anything.

Wlad had the chance to face a real bad mother****er in James Toney, yet he never wanted that fight for years. Now, James is too old, shame on Wlad. That is about the only quality opponent, Wlad has not faced and when you listen to Steward that is for good reasons.

perhaps HBO is trying to hype a wladimir vs haye clash?

they will show probably both fights, for the americans to remember wladimir and to introduce haye.

hopefully wladimir will look really good and knock povetkin in the first 8 rounds out (no disrespect to povetkin, he is a A grade fighter, but klitschko is to big, to strong, to clever and to fast for him)

and haye should hopefully blast harrisson out in 2 rounds( imagine, harrisson knocks out haye, that would be the funniest thing ever:D)

Povetkin is 30, and has only 19 pro fights under his belt. Despite some very good fights, he is too inactive. He is not a green fighter, but not a seasoned one as well.

Exactly, too green for an accompllished champ like Wlad.

I mean Wlad had the opportunity for years to face the experienced ATG JAmes Toney, yet he did not face him for years bceause of some advice he received, disgusting attitude by Wlad. Now, James is too ****ing old.

Wlad KO Povetkin, another easy fight for him.
