Povetkin is another on the very long list of potentially amazing cruiserweights who insist on blubbering their way around >200lbs. Actually I don't know how he'd wear 199 on his 6'2" frame. He certainly isn't big enough to hang with Wlad. This is the problem with such an open-ended division.

    Vlad will stop Povetkin.

Klitschko’s _style_ could be impregnable, according to Emanuel Steward, who says, “For the first time I’ve ever had a heavyweight that I could always see weaknesses when I would train a guy to beat if I was ever in the other corner. Wladimir is gonna be the one I don’t think I could train no man to beat the way he is. I’m serious. I’ve never had a fighter – I went from Holyfield and all the guys I’ve worked with, never, Lennox – (Wladimir) is a very, very committed, very difficult to beat fighter. Because he won’t let you fight him. He makes you fight what he wants you to fight. But the biggest thing which I think people are not looking at is his speed for a big man. Tremendous speed.”

    Not true.
Povetkin IS a special fighter. He's got attributes that are rarely found among todays heavyweights: very good technique, speed, combination punching, a high workrate and a seemingly endless stamina. I like to think of him as a heavyweight version of Miguel Cotto.

He doesn't have Miguel Cotto's power, has little head movement, and his forehand is so big he's just waiting to eat a right hand. I don't know though, maybe he can improve, maybe he can add head movement, maybe Povetkin's smothering style will bother Klitschko. One thing for sure though he won't beat Klitschko by boxing him or fighting at his distance.

Boytsov also has a better chance than Povetkin, thanks to his speed and power.

Lets see how Wlad copes with Povetkin's high workrate and his abilty to take the fight to his opponent. One of POvetkin's sharpest weapons is his abilty to adjust to the style of his opponent.Povetkin beat them all at the amateurs. He hasnt lost a single fight at the pros either.
His problem is that he looks as though butter can melt in his mouth, like a dull coach potato.Furthermore he for sure isnt the most charismatic person out there.
However, looks can be deceptive. He will probably lose his upcomming fight with Wlad, but he is still good enough to beat up the likes of Arreola,Sam Peter,Tua,Brewster,or Dimitrenko.
