Aye, Dream. KT might be a very good fit, here. That might be significant. Also, people are focusing far too much on the Huck fight when assessing Povetkin's ability, lately. He is a very good fighter. Nothing great, and won't be Volo's best win even, but a very good contender who has earned his position as a challenger more than anyone in recent years. Though, Volo by stoppage in the 7-9 area, I'm thinking is the safest bet. By the end of this thread, you will both be bestest friends. Or one of you...will be gone. :scaredas:
Alexander Povetkin has a great chance to dethrone Klitschko. More of a chance than Haye had. Povetkin is written off completely because of 2 canceled fights in the past. People assume he is avoiding Klitschko and is scared of him. That only plays in Povetkin's and Tszyu's cards. This fight is a pick'em. I will stop criticizing Klitschko if he happens to dominate and stop Povetkin. Mark my words. This is a huge challenge for him. Povetkin will find a way through that jab and then let's see what happens. I predict that Povetkin will bulldoze Klitschko to a mid-round stoppage. He is an undefeated, fearless warrior with a big heart and has everything it takes to rough Klitschko up. I'm certain that Povetkin will shock the world and most fools on here who completely wrote him off. Cant wait for this fight. I will bet big bucks on the upset.
Can't see Povetkin going into 'survival mode'. He will persevere at trying to get inside, and get stopped
I have a feeling Povetkin may freeze in the ring. The pressure may be too big for him and he will not do anything in the first couple of rounds. Unfortunately Wlad is not one of those guys who would jump at the opportunity.
In Pov vs Rahman, Pov actually got hit pretty easy with jabs from Rahman in some part of the first round. If a dinosaur like Rahman can land som jabs, I also think Wlad can land MANY of them, and some of them pretty hard, followed by a straight right from a place Pov never ever have heard of. Wlad gonna win, and we will not see start of round 10.
Wlad won't take any unnecessary chances in this one. He'll just look to win every round. To use an old Howard Cosell phrase: a "cautious cakewalk".
