Wladimir Klitschko vs Alexander Povetkin

I just don't see Wlad possibly getting outpointed by the young povetkin

 

Povetkin has the potential to score points against anybody with his work-rate. It depends whether he can hurt Klitschko enough to force him into his shell.

Povetkin will not disgrace himself here, unlike those before him. He will give Klitschko a real good go I feel, even if it gets him knocked out given how prone he is to a straight right.

 

Thompson didn't disgrace himself either,guys like Austin,Brewster disgraced themselves with Wlad

 

I can just see wlad jabbing povetkin all night and the occasional right hand, i can't see povetkin imposing himself on wlad enough :conf ive been wrong before :good

 

Maybe. Most Wlad opponents struggle to get near him these days, given his jab is so good and as soon as anybody gets within 2 metres he jumps on them and bearhugs relentlessly

Its possible or even probable that will happen. I think Povetkin will give it a go though, and go out on his sword.

 

From what I have seen Povetkin leaves himself completely open for the right hand in most of his fights (i.e. against Chambers) and that is Wlad's money punch, so I am going with Wlad by Ko sometime in the middle rounds.

The key to beating wlad is speed and power, and i just don't think povetkin has enough pop. He is a very skillfull boxer don't get me wrong, i still think this fight is to early for him kinda reminds me of tyrell biggs vs mike tyson.

Biggs 15-0 10 ko's olympic champion fought tyson and got smashed and was never the same.

I personaly give haye more chance against wlad as he is fast and powerful and comes to knock you out.

I think eitherway it will be a good fight with wlad's hand raised as the winner

The more fans wlad can get the more ppv buys he will get, therefore people will be more hyped about him fighting.

funny how wlad is the champ but there are more threads about david haye :think and people seem more hyped about his older brother fighting fat sam then him fighting povetkin.

There are reasons for this


Wlad is a good fighter and a good champ but he can sometimes bore the hell out of the paying public, i like wlad but id like him to stop the huggy bear ****.
