You know, at first glance, this seems like a completely random thread to start. But on closer inspection, I find this still seems like a completely random thread to start.
...Okay. ...So...Wladimir should be ranked higher than the post retirement version of Foreman? That's fair. :deal
me n old boxed ears have had our disputes on this board before. but i have to back him up on this one.... what a bollocks thread. atsch
im going to use your bull**** analogy somewhere else to show you how ridiculous it sounds: Old Ali got owned by Larry Holmes....while a young tyson beat holmes easily (excuse me for this blasphemous comment)
That version of Ali was on heavy medication for Parkinsons, what a comparison. Old Foreman was dangeours enough to KO Moorer, the same Moorer would habe beaten Ali as bad as Holmes did. Wlad's performance against Schulz is underrated. Schulz held his own against Foreman and Moorer, he was never a top 3 fighter, but solid top 10 and never knocked down before. Wlad dominanted every minute of that fight.
This was 99 I believe...? I think people sometimes ignore the fact that Wladimir is a very experienced fighter, and has fought at the top level of boxing for over a decade now. I think it should count for something that Wlad is a fighter in his prime yet he has had 58 fights
Schulz tryed to get the rematch but Foreman didnt want any part of him and got stripped for the belt rufusing to meet schulz. Schulz had never been stopped before his fight with wladimir.
Wrong. People should actually note that Wlad had fought 43 times when Lennox retired but never even got close to the top. They should also note that Wlad only began to 'dominate' when every good fighter in the division retired. A prime that comsists of beating overmatched and out of shape bums means nothing to real boxing fans.
hehe, your the one thats wrong davo. Wladimir already won the wbo hw belt in year 2000 beating slick chris byrd easily. Here you got some proof showing that wlad was one of the top guys when lewis still was the champ [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NndZxgN__SI[/ame] Dont you have something better to do then write **** about the klitschko's everytime their name is mentioned on thise site, its pretty pathetic.
