Or like WWII era, western USA resident, American-Born citizens of Japanese descent, asked if they had renounced oaths of loyalty to the Japanese Emperor. They never had (renounced), because they had never uttered such oaths to begin with. But such explanations were recorded sans qualification as 'No'.

Again, for the umpteenth time you do not even have your facts correct. Again, I wonder if you even follow the sport.

Lewis was off filming Oceans 11 and partying before arriving late in South Africa for the Rahman fight. Prepared was the last word one should use to describe him.

Does the fault lie with him? Absolutely. He was unprofessional and got tagged by a guy who being professional, focused and prepared.

But was he prepared? Absolutely not.

It's true that Lewis was not 100% prepared for Rahman the first time.
See, the problem was he started believing he was a good as others believed he was. Him AND his "legend" trainer Manny Steward were both basically saying they could afford to do less than 100% against Rahman ... they were foolish and arrogant, and simply not as great as their press clippings, and started to believe their own hype. It happens.

On the other hand, if we look at the list of fighters who were not 100% prepared when they lost to Lewis, that would be pretty long too. So what to make of it ?

At least Lewis got a rematch.
