wlad is so damn dominant that someone wins a few rounds and its a big deal. it's crazy really. jennings did well for sure, but it was a clear wlad win.

...except that Canelo's body shots missed, for the most part.

There are a lot of factors in scoring fights.

You have to factor in the power of the punches.

Hard punches should score better than weak punches.

In some cases, you can win entire round with one hard punch.

I was awake for this contest as have been unlucky with my health over recent months but this was nearly a strong enough sleeper to send me to the land of zzzzz. Jennings was as I suspected out of his depth and certainly of below world class standard of most heavyweight era's . Wlad K was sadly back to his tip tap snooze fest best surely he should of carried on from his stoppage of pulev . After this surely the american tv people will only want wlad to fight a select few opponents wilder or fury pop into my mind . I am not a fury fan but out of the two I would rather see a fury wlad fight . I can't believe I'm saying this but fury could have a real chance must be the drugs talking

That fight was really close actually, i thought klitschko dominated, but watching the interview you could see wladimir had it rough. He was breathing heavily and his whole demeanor looked like he was unsatisfied. I think those body shots took a huge toll on wladimir. Jennings sounded fresh his face barely showed any bruising whereas wladimir look in pretty bad shape.

Indeed Fury woulda flattened Jennings & roughed him up the inside. And Fury could beat Klitschko actually

They just stuck up a advert for MayPac, now I've been rather relaxed about it all, not got overly excited, if I'm honest I thought it would be rescheduled after an "injury" or something would go wrong.
but I have to admit that's the first time I actually got excited about it, this time next week these forums will be alight LOL

Body shots are scoring blows. Punching guard is not. Jennings outlanded Wlad in scoring blows in most rounds. His problem is that he couldn't land much to the head. We already know that judges don't ever count jabs, and the occasional power shot to Wlads body. Wlad can bounce 8 jabs, and 3 power shots off of Jennings guard, and Jennings can land 12 body shots in the round. They aren't going to give Jennings the round, without him landing some significant head shots as well.

No you're wrong Wladimir won 10 rounds and you and IB are way off tonight. Jennings made it competitive but not enough to win many rounds.

There is no consistency in scoring. Of course they give the cash cows the benefit of the doubt, but you can't really generalize on that.
