Jennings can win...if a congenital heart defect as yet undetected fells Wlad before the champ can get in the ring. Not exactly an exciting affair when the outcome seems so damn obvious to be honest.
I'm also going to be in attendance. Expecting Wladimir to absolutely steamroll him within 5 rounds. Wladimir has way too much of everything for this guy, which will be apparent very early. Bowie Tupou actually hurt and dropped Jennings, which leads to questions about Jennings's chin/durability. And we know The Steelhammer can crack... :toney
There is big troll in this thread .... And like all the time, after Wlad destroy Jennings, he will give no respect for the win and will call Jennings bum and Wlad fight only weak opponent .... We already see that .... In this match people will see how good Wlad is, and that he still have all the weapon and his jab is very well there. Win for Wlad in the 5-6 rounds.
Jennings is a solid heavyweight but he's no threat to Wlad. He has no tools that suggest he's in for anything other than a long painful night. He isn't fast, he isn't a puncher, he is technically average, only thing remarkable about him is his reach, but his jab is average at best, despite his reach. Wlad may not he the fighter some of his most ardent fans think he is but he is a great and it will take more than an ordinary heavy like Jennings to come close to upsetting Wlad.
Jennings fits the mold of a Klitschko destroyer: he's a no-hoper. Maybe he can absorb a terrible beating and KO an exhausted Klitschko or maybe ( probably ) not. Jennings is a competent smart boxer but he's just not on Klitschko's level at least he doesn't appear to be on Klitschko's level at the moment and probably won't appear to be on Klitschko's level during the fight or after the fight either. Klitschko has too much power, too much skill, too much experience and too much size.
I think Wlad will want to have a fan pleasing match since he's back in US after a long time off, so I expect a KO in 7 rounds.
Planning on going but damn the tickets are expensive (in comparison to other major fights in the US I have been to). Any news on the undercard? Heard some noise about possibly Loma being there but no idea of an opponent
You can't say that Wlad is gonna get stopped but then say you won't give him that much credit if he wins clean. If it is a terrible matchup for Wlad where it is likely he'll get KOd, then it is an impressive win if he wins cleanly. If it isn't a terrible match up (which it isn't), then you can not give him that much credit for the win. Can't have it both ways though. Personally, I won't give Wlad that much credit for this because Jennings has no shot. NONE.
Yes. Money should be a Wlad - but out of all the contenders who Wlad has not faced yet, Jennings is as good as any possible opponent for Wlad. Yes, Fury, Wilder too...but right now I have Fury, Wilder, Jennings all in the same echelon. Wlad doing what he should be doing - clearing out the division. Good fight.
