Kimori comes out to some aggro industrial.

 

Veto comes out to some MUCH gayer music. It sounds like Def Leppard, GNR and Bon Jovi put in a blender. :think WAR KIMORI!

 

Round 1

Kimori keeps a high and slightly odd southpaw stance, his fists held out on either side of his head and pointing vertically at the ceiling like antennae. He chops with his right jab. OOH, nice straight left cross catches Veto on the chin. Veto tries to circle on the outside and box behind his pawing left jab out of a more conventional turtle shell. Another good piercing 1-2 by Kimori as they exchange on the turn. Veto is very cautious, staying outside with his face tightly shielded by leather and dropping one long right hand to the body every fifteen or twenty seconds.

10-9 Kimori for his couple of nice shell-splitting rights. Not much else happened either way.

 

Round 2

Veto tries to be first with a right to the body but is smacked back with a quick right check hook. Kimori is landing some nice long missiles to the navel of Veto from mid range. Good right jab. Veto is extremely shy behind his guard, very reminiscent of the slow-starting and low-volume style of Arthur Abraham (although it remains to be seen if he has the equalizing power that AA has, or had at MW anyway..) Kimori is being more active, and is the more accurate puncher with his nice right jabs and laser-like lefts trained between the gloves and under the elbows.

Round 3

Kimori comes knocking at the door with his right jab, and trying to ram it down with his carefully placed left. Veto is just backing away, only moving his gloves to switch from earmuff position to face-guarding as he tries to drift away while avoiding the ropes. NICE left uppercut on the inside by Kimori. Veto isn't landing anything clean, just pawing with his jab and mostly watching it slide over Kimori's right shoulder. Kimori dips at the knees and feints a body punch, making Veto flinch. Veto looks frustrated, and hangs outside...ad******g his trunks. Kimori stands pat and waits for him, daring him to come in and get past his coiled counter left. Veto lands one good 1-2, his only success through 9 minutes of fighting so far.

Round 4

Kimori is leaning in and digging right hooks to the body and slapping up with backhand jabs to the face., getting the better of the infighting by far. Veto still maintains his tight guard even in the pocket, trying to push Kimori away with his forearms. There's a couple of nice short right hands by Veto as he starts to actually scrap. Ambidextrous uppercuts to the chin by Kimori. Now a straight power combo that backs Veto up. Veto tries a right uppercut of his own. Low blow by Veto, and Kimori takes a second to recover. More leaning and clubbing, with Kimori throwing and landing more.
