It wasn´t a typical Wlad fight.

It was a tough fight. Wlad was cut in round 2 and Thompson took alot of punishment and hit Wlad more than other fighters. Both make a fight, not a boxing match.

I saw the fight twice & I enjoyed it. Thompson is a better boxer than he's getting credit for here.

How many people can say that they have stopped Hasim Rahman? Not very many. Oleg Maskaev, David Tua, lennox Lewis, and Evander Holyfield...not bad company.

Give Wlad more credit for completely dominating a former, lineal heavyweight Champ!!

Thompson tore a tendon in his knee and had to have surgery after this fight, which is probably the reason why he couldn't follow through with the Toney fight...man, some people are so judgmental on this forum. it's probably these same people that have never done anything physical in their lives.

There are so many variables that affect any kind of physically demanding activity.

i personally think that Haye never had any intention of fighting the klitschko brothers...he has been using these negotiations to catapult his career...just like James Toney.

If this fight ever happens...i will be completely surprised.

So far, my theory has not been proven wrong. He hasn't signed a fight yet, and we're all talking about him. With all of his talk, he has generated a lot of interest among fight fans, and what has he done in the Heavyweight division. Absoltuely nothing yet. I think it is a brilliant promotional move on his part.

No what you say is right about him acheiving nothing. He has had 2 fights there. It is hard to acheive something in that time.He wouldn't use this to promote himself if he were just going to fight say Rahman,Toney,Thompson and that lot.He wants the Klitschko fight and he is confident. He just wants the best pay he can get and some take this as him not wanting the fight

Yes he has had 2 fights in the heavyweight division, but, do those 2 victories merit the kind of jive that he's been running? Absolutely not!!

I have to give him credit for one thing thus far: He is wearing the promoter hat very well!!

I just wonder if he genuinely believes all of the crap his mouth is spewing?

He had a reputation when he stepped up.Fair enough he has done nothing at heavy, but his wins at CW are still valid
