You Klit-ites love your meaningless stats don't you :nut

Haye was a unified champion after 21 fights, WALDO didn't unify until he'd had over 50. Cautious type, isn't he :D

    Quality over quantity.

I think your right, but I think Povetkin's making the same mistake by not fighting Wlad and ****ing around instead of taking the match.

Yeah because Wlad has always fought with his new style.... right? You weren't following boxing when the knock on Wlad was that he threw too many power punches, wasted too much energy, and didn't know how to pace himself?:think You know... the same label that he had until after the Brewster fight?

Yeah, but he was fighting nobodies on his come-up, kinda like Brian Neilson who had what 40 some fights before he lost Widdow.

WOW!!! I just checked into this thread for the first time just now. I'm on the fence by the way, but DAMN!!!! Look at what this match-up has done already for HW boxing!! One thread with 2,568 posts and counting. This is what we've been needing!! I like both Klits very much, but have also been swept up by the exciting stuff Haye has done and brought over the last couple years. I can't pick a winner, but this is great for boxing!

Yet, people knock today's fighters for not fighting enough? Which way do you want it? The problem with Haye is that he doesn't fight enough... and he doesn't have a high level of good opposition either.

No I never bothered to watch him with his old style, he got knocked the **** out all the time and it bored me. I only really started to take notice of him again when he really hit the heights in the Peter, Austin, Iggy and Rahman fights :nut

Well he cleaned out his own division, can't ask for more than that. WALDO hasn't done this at HW after having more than double the fights Haye has had.

I'd say somewhere inbetween the two would be fine for me. Take off 15 of WALDOS bum a month fights that his record is padded with and throw in 3 or 4 more decent opponents then it might start to look good. If only his brother would get the **** out of the way.....

Who did he beat old ass Larry Holmes? He's most famous for going 7 rounds with the 01 version of Tyson, and until that point was never even knocked down or out.
