Nice. I like the way you threw his words back at him...............classic. Fightingweight is a true hater's hater.
I didn't say that. Its the way you put that spin on things to justify Wlad even fighting Rahman. If it were Haye who had fought Rahman when he fought Barrett say, you'd have pointed out the fact that Rahman quit on his stool against Toney rather than the fact that he KO'd LL.atsch
Don't put words in my mouth. I would've like to see Haye fight Rahman to see if he could take Hasim's power. Assuming Rahman could land on him that is............. I clearly stated that fighting Barrett wasn't a bad choice for Haye in his first REAL Heavyweight fight also. The only thing I complained about was that Haye said he would fight (2) top 10 Heavyweights before fighting Wlad & instead he fought (1) top 25 or so Heavyweight.
Hasim Rahman was the next highest available contender for Wlad's IBF belt. By Wlad choosing him when Povetkin pulled out due to injury, he fullfilled his mandatory. This is why he's even able to fight Haye as a voluntary defense. Comprende? We wouldn't even be taking about this fight if Wladimir didn't go out of his way to make sure it could happen. So all this talk of Wladimir ducking Haye is utter bull**** and Fightingweight can take his avatar & stick it up his ass. Every day that goes by with that avatar he looks a bit more foolish.............. Know your information before you try to butt heads with me. :good
I never said Wlad ducked anyone. You tried to justify Wlad fighting Rahman by saying he KO'd Lewis and contradicted yourself BADLY by doing so.FOOL!:hi:
...and when the **** did I do this...??? That statement might have been as clever as you thought it was, had I actually made such a comment about WLAD.
Rahman was the mandatory!! Povetkin pulls out and than Wlad had to box the next available contender who takes the fight. And that was Hasim Rahman! And i am sure, you know the facts.
No. This is a distortion...Povetkin was the Mandatory...that is the fact. WLAD saw an easy fight with a hardly justifiable Rahman, who was available...they got the the org to allow this to fulfill his madatory obligation for now...but that doesn't mean he was the mandatory challenger. Sorry. That's like me winning a ticket to watch KLIT-fight...I'm unavailable to make it...somewhere on the list of runners up, we find Jisi. That doesn't make you the winner, the winner was just unavailable. You going in my place does not mean you won. It just means you get rewarded like you did. Rahman was no Mandatory challenger.
What are you talking about? Wlad had to make the mandatory, this was Povetkin (9 months period by the IBF). Povetkin pulls out. So Wlad had to box the next available contender to make his mandatory or he would be stripped of the title. Stop lying.
imo, wlad fought rahman to stay busy and delay his madatory which allowed him to pick his next opponent. had he fought a guy like chambers, a better opponent but lower rated by the IBF, he would have lost his ability to make an optional and instead been forced in the povetkin fight next (from my understanding). povetkin is to blame for tripping over a tree root. wlad was ready to fight and dismantle him. how can a fighter be blamed when the other guy pulls out with an alleged injury? :yep
He's just flat too small and chinny. I question whether he is 6'3", 215 lbs. with an 80.5" reach. He's a great cruiserweight!:good
