"Some of the names to be considered for December include Denis Boytsov, Tomasz Adamek, Jean Marc Mormeck, Odlanier Solis and David Tua. The opponent will depend on the fighter's schedule matching up for the date and the amount of money being demanded by the other side"

Unless its Adamek, then Solis is the only name that's more credible than Tua. Boytsov won't take this fight...he's coming off injury and is better off waiting to be a mandatory for the WBA or IBF.

I'll try to debate this haha...

I mean cmon, you think people would frown less on Wlad fighting 47yo Holyfield? I dunno man, I mean obviously Holyfield is the better name to have on a record, but the dude is 47 years old now. You honestly believe Holyfield would be a sterner test then Tua, if this fight came of in december?

But yea, it is pretty bad all around. Wlad (& Vitali) is doing what he's supposed to, the management sets them up, and he knocks them down. Literally haha.

, I feel that once he gets knocked out that I should finally give up my support of him continuing his career.

As much sense as that might not make, I just enjoy the nostalgia Tua brings for me when he fights...maybe I'm overdoing it, as I keep forgetting how bad the Barrett debacle was...

I was the same way with Holyfield when he first came back in 06. But after a few fights, I let it go. No one can beat Father time.

I agree Tua is too tough. I wouldn't be surprised is Wlad gets a tko. But I'll still stick with my guns and say Tua will make it to the final bell, no matter how battered he would surely get.

At least Tua would get one last chance at the belts the have always avoided him is probably why I can stand this if it happens.

This is excellent news. Just stay active and sharp. Waiting on the big fanny or anyone else would be a mistake. Wlad is just staying busy and fighting the best available and willing opponents. If the best guy doesn't want to fight, go to the next and so on....

Of the opponents mentioned, Adamek is clearly the best option since it would be a big fight and he's the no. 4 contender in the world. Tua is the 2nd best option since he has a big name, has never been stopped and is ranked in the WBO. I have no problem with this fight since it would be his third in 2010. Boytsov is the no. 7 contender and Solis has upside but they are too inexperienced. Mormeck is a joke though. But I'd rather Wlad fight him if that's his only option. I mean he can't force anyone to get in the ring with him so it's just better to stay active than just sit around waiting for big fights that will probably not happen.

    Cant argue.

Adamek is the only one out there that wouldn't be completely pointless, as he deserves his shot at getting pillaged, which make no mistake will happen when/if he fights either brother.

The brothers are by far some of the most dominant active fighters of this current era. Even if its by default, its hard to deny.

100% And same thing would happen to Arreola if anybody even thinks him as possible opponent anymore, sadly..

I'm kind of sick of the fact that most of the contenders are not working for a title shot anymore, they're fighting cans, padding their record and waiting for Wlad to knock off the next pretender to put them a step closer for a pay-check.

Better than no fight at all. If Wlad wants to stay active and sharp, he needs to fight no matter what...even if the top contenders continue to duck him.

No doubt Adamek will have his chance at this fight first. I don't blame him if he passes which I don't have a problem with since he hasn't talked ****.

Can't believe there's a vote for Tua on points!

Seriously, totally pointless this one. I had high hopes for Tua when he returned, but if he can't even beat a shot to hell Barrett then you know he's not even close to world level.
If it happens (and I hope it doesn't) Wlad stops Tua, and Tua might get seriously hurt in the process.
