If Mayweather comes to the UK next year it would probably be the biggest fight the country has ever seen..He commands global attention where boxing is predominant.....All the contenders are fighting each other..Fury/USS Fury/Pulev..Areolla/Stirvine..Haye/Charr. Wlad should be fighting those guys along with Povektin, Chisora, Scott....

So not really global attention. Doubt he's that big in Africa or Asia. That's not his fault though, just the state boxing is in.

Now we're starting to get some decent heavyweight fights I'll agree. But still, who has Malik Scott fought? Got robbed against Glazkov who wasn't proven much himself. Imagine if Pulev beats Fury, Jennings, Scott and Solis or Wach. That's the sort of run that would make people sit up a bit and would make a Wlad fight appealing.

What's Povetkin actually done? He was quite fun around the time he beat Chambers and was being matched well. The only decent fighter he's beaten since is Huck who's not a HW. Nobody's making a serious argument to be considered a threat to Wlad.

Who has Pineata, Wach, Mormek fought?
Pulev doesn't need to fight Fury, he already won his eliminator to fight Wlad.
He splits a terrible division in half with his brother.
The division is dead and K2 dont make it any better.

That's what I'm saying. Nobodies fighting anyone because they're going to get a title shot anyway. But beating nobodies doesn't prepare you for the Klitschko's.

These contenders need to fight each other, learn how it is to be in a tough fight where everything isn't going in your favour (Fury's had that experience tbf) and that will make them better fighters in the long run and more dangerous opponents for Wlad. Not saying they'll win cos Wlad is excellent, but he might actually be in a fight for once.

Wlad is just beating up everyone out there. When a real challenge comes, they usually end in a whimper as the opponent fails to deliver - Brewster II, Peter II, Haye etc

Wlads not exciting but he is a victim of his own dominance. If he was warring then you would think he is better than he is. Boxing fans like to see inferior fights fight harder fights and then say they are better than what they are.

Wlad hasn't got the chin to skew public opinion with the odd war like Ali, even Mayweather has. Vitali sadly got old and even sloppier before he could get people excited with such fights.

Its sad that the Klits, though boring, expose modern boxers and lacking the discipline to come in shape or the intelligence to execute any sort of gameplan. What hope do they have when they are already giving up physical advantages like height, size, strength, speed and power.

I wonder will ESPN cover the Mike Perez v Travis Walker undercard fight?

Walker actually has a tougher opponent than Wlad.

I say let Walker fight Pianeta and let Perez take a shot at Wlad :D

No. Just No. The top contenders fight top contenders in order to get a mandatory position. You wont get this position anyway.:patsch

Bull****, you honestly believe that mandatory challengers are by definition the most deserving??

Most mandatories are a **** take. Fact

Wlad would deserve **** for facing the likes of Pianeta if he was fighting once a year but the guy is fairly busy so, fights like this are inevitable, especially in a barren division.

Most? Maybe with Haye fighting ****ing John Ruiz.
Pulev now fights Fury (the winner will be mandatory). Povetkin (also as mandatory) will fight Wladimir next. Stiverne beat Arreola (CLEARLY). These mandatory challengers are worthy for a world title fight. Of course there are mandatory challengers who are not so good. But maybe you can tell me when Wladimir fought a mandatory challenger who whas not deserving the fight?
And maybe you can show me some numbers? How many mandatory challengers are a "**** take" and how many are worthy for a title fight? At the end it is just your strange opinion that most mandatory challengers dont deserve a title fight.:patsch

Sometimes/rarely the mandatories throw up a good fight, the heavyweights at the moment are like you point out decent at the present time.

However for mandatories to be anything but a joke in many/most cases would mean the alphabet rankings being both clean and honest.... They are not.

Off the top of my head the last mandatory title fight I can think of was Cleverly v Krasniqui....... Is Krasniqui even top 20?? who did he beat to become no1?? are all the other decent L heavyweights busy or belt holders?? why is that guy Bellew who almost beat Cleverly last time not mandatory?? Is it cos he left a certain promoter who is in favour with a certain ranking organisation?? ..... I could do this all day.

I was talking about heavyweight mandatories. Out of my head I just can remember John Ruiz fighting David Haye as a very bad and not deserving madatory.
I asked you a question. When was the last time Wladimir faced a mandatory challenger who was a "**** take" and who was not deserving at all. And again you did not showed any numbers. You have one example from the light heavyweight division. One example does not mean that MOST mandatory challengers are not deserving a title fight.
You made this statement. But it seems that you cant back it up. All in all it is just your opinion. Which you cant sell as a fact.
I dont say mandatory challengers are always the most deserving fighters. But I clearly dont see that most of them are not worthy of a title fight.

The Haye - Ruiz mandatory came about because Ruiz got paid step aside money so Haye could face Valuev I do believe and then guaranteed a shot at the title after it.

Bull****......Mormeck was unranked. Thompson was gifted mandatory status and didn't deserve it. Wach was unranked. Pineata was beyond top 10 ranked....If any other champion in any division who held ALL the belts cherry picked unranked nobodys like Wlad is doing, there would be outcry to get him bannished from the sport...Lucky for him nobody cares about the HW division any more and he is able to get away with it.
