Lol prime George was just as fast as Corrie, in terms of both hand and foot speed. And he had better stamina than Wlad. When Wlad fought Like Foreman vs Brewster he was dead after 5 rounds lmao.

What makes you think Wlad was traumatized by the early stoppages?

    What do you mean?

    We all saw it.

    He completely changed his style.

    Jab and grab.

    Look how he fought Povetkin.

Did you not follow his career?

He became a very cautious fighter in many of his fights.

At times, Manny had to shout at him so he’d let his hands go.

I just put it down to him becoming a smarter fighter.

    No.

He was knocked out 3 times in his 20’s.

Manny revived his career with a more cautious style.

Then why did he retire after getting beaten by Jimmy Young?
Being low on money had a lot to do with it.
He fought Povetkin like that because he had height, reach and strength on him.
What does that have to do with mental strength?
His lack of stamina, his mental fragility, his lack of ring IQ, his lack of strength. I can look at that too.

If you believe that then there is no point in having any discussion. Sanders had fast hands, Foreman did not.
Which makes it all that harder for Foreman to win.

Get off the highlight reels and start watching full fights man.

His jabs and straight rights could be brutally quick, watch the second round vs Lyle or the full fight in Zaire. He loaded up on his punches when finishing guys so he looked slower but it didnt matter at that point did it.

Sanders on the other hand Always threw straight punches and often kind of slapped, no doubt he was fast handed but there wasnt much between him and George.

I have. His faster shots were still quite slow, although not ponderous as many of his bigger punches tended to be.

    Religious vision, according to George.

These things always happen after loss and humiliation. Doubt Foreman had any revelations after knocking out Frazier.

    Supposedly when he was dehydrated.

I'm unaware of there being a link between religious experiences and/or hallucinations and being mentally weak. Haven't looked into it, though; if you're aware of something, I'd be interested.

Unless you're saying he's lying about it, but I suspect not, since the guy did enter the clergy afterwards.

Without the loss and humiliation he suffered Foreman wouldn't have bothered going down the path of religious services.

So you think if he'd KO'd Young and still had the vision, he would have just ignored it?
