Let's say in 2005, instead of fighting Sam Peter, Wladimir fights Ike. How does this fight play out?

Who knows. Ike stopped fighting in 1999.

I thought this was about Vitali . Oops

As for Wlad, I believe prime for prime even with the style he adopted under Steward, he would have a hard time lasting the distance with Ike.

lights out for wlad early, probably round 1. I would fear for Wlad s life.

    vits would last longer.

well I love Ike even though so many think he is over rated,,,

Ike was huge and had pretty good hand speed and he could hit extremely hard. Hard enough to knock Wlado out asap. Would I bet on Ike? Probably not, I would fear Wlado would win a ugly 12 ud over Ike. However, I rate Ike higher than Sam Peter and Peter gave Vlad a hard time so I think iIke and Vlad would be a really close fight.

Ike never fought a big heavyweight and certainly no one like Wlad.

    Wlad beats him by UD.

I think Ike would win due to his excellent work rate and in fighting. He would not allow Wlad to just hold him he would tear him up when he tried to hold him.

Povetkin is much better than Ike.

Ike never had the mentality to even come close to beating Wlad.

If Peter could have that version of Wlad on the deck 3 times then Ike KO's him without too much fuss. Wlad was yet to peak and against a strong powerful heavy like Ike who could walk through his shots, he'd be in trouble.

He beat 2 midgets. Ike wouldn't know how to attack Wlad.

He wouldn't be able to overpower him and his defense is terrible.

He can't have wars like he did with Tua and expect to continue.

He reminds me of a smaller version of Bowe.

    Ike. By far.

He had a tremendous chin, phenomenal output, great power and was as tough as nails.

Literally EVERYTHING that Wlad HASN'T got.
