Wladimir Klitschko vs. Kubrat Pulev, Pre-Fight Analysis

    Pulev amateur gold.. but Wlad was also eliminated in the WC without a medal etc.

    Wlad had the honor of being Earth champ.

    Klitschko is definitely past his prime but I still see him beating Pulev because Pulev, IMO, is just a more limited version of Klitschko himself; size, experience, timing, two-handed skills all go to Klitschko. The only possible advantage I see Pulev having is durability. If Klitschko uses his boring Lennox Lewis type style Pulev will gradually jabbed into submission. However, Klitschko may show us a few things we don't usually see from him i.e. a body attack. He usually doesn't bother hitting opponents in the body---unless they're tall opponents then he makes a different calculation.

    Most likely this fight will be a jabbing contest from start to finish with Pulev falling short of the mark consistently. Klitschko via retirement 9-10 rounds.

    Povetkin with all the amateur gold couldn't even medal in Belfast 2001.
