How does he do?

  1. Goes Undefeated

  2. Manages to succeed whilst also taking a few loses

  3. Doesn't complete it

How would Wlad fare up against the comrades of The Brown Bomber?

(this includes every fighter Louis contested a title bout with, so even fights where he came up short count such as Ezzard Charles, Rocky Marciano and Jersey Joe Walcott 1 IMO)

If Wlad as he was in real life fighting Louis's list of opponents as they were in real life I think he does it against opponents who in my book Wlad would have even bigger physical advantages over than he had in real life were he reigned quite a long time himself as we know.

But assume Wlad grows up in the 1930s or the opponents are transported to the Wlad era vise versa? Who knows that's there and that's were it gets complicated and hard to speculate.

Really don't see anyone in Louis's era who would trouble Wlad tbh. Even Ezzard and JJW are way to small to do much against someone who can keep them at range and never let them close to land their counters.

Wlad's perfect for a run at this. He's huge and consistent. Guys would be allowed to work on the inside against him which would upset him, but he's so huge I'm not sure it would matter.

Yes he would have insane physical advantages here even more than when he dominated.

I would assume the exact version of Wlad as he was in his title reign, vs. Louis' opponents as they were back then, since those are the only versions we've actually seen in action. I also assume Wlad runs the table here. I've never seen anything from any Joe Louis challenger that would lead me to believe they'd be competitive w/Wlad. It's just a matter of whether any of them see the final bell or not.

I would assume so as well but the side options were not completely unplausible so I gave it a little cover.

Assuming we're talking about Louis's run and timeline as was... then, it's a world where Wlad is forced to work for a living, fighting in the US, rather than on home turf. Thus, he's going to find the pace tougher going than he got quite used to during his own run. And I think we're talking more than an extra three years and 7 more title defenses he'd need to muster.

I don't think he makes it.

Yes. In the most hypothetical of scenarios if Wladimir Klitschko were to travel back to 1937 while bringing with him his 21st century body and set of Emanuel Steward honed skills, he likely runs through all of Joe Louis’s title opponents untouched.
