For a start Mitch Green would probably put up a better fight than say Pulev and Haye.

Mitch Green would experience something he never did in his career.... A knockout defeat.

I think that about sums it up. Neither man is about taking any real chances and both can clinch. Green was also a big guy and pretty durable. Wlad wins over 12 about 11 rounds to 1.

I don't even like Klitchko, and hate the way he fights, that being said he would probably be arrested for Murder when this fight, (if you wanna call it that) is over, Green has about as much business in the ring with Klitchko, as Obama would at a Klan rally, it don't belong...

Of course it was about 30 years ago, but did Green ever beat an elite Heavyweight:huh

No.. His resume is completely void of any quality wins and in truth he's only known for going 10 one sided rounds with a 19 year old Tyson.. So there is no valid reason whatsoever for giving Mitch a chance, ( or even starting this thread for that matter. ) But I am of the mind that he was a survivor and a guy who could hang in there, even if he just shows up to take the worst beating of his life.. Green was a big man in his prime at 6'5", 225 lbs. He survived two legit heavyweight beatings against both Tyson and Berbick when they were close to being at their best ( Tyson slightly before peak, and Berbick just slightly beyond it. ) Meanwhile Klitscko is sometimes content to playing it safe, picking guys off with the jab and clinching when it seems like a good idea.. My pick is Wlad by 12 horribly one sided rounds and a lot of boos from the crowd in a dull affair.

Green had a good chin. He really wasn't that skilled and partied a lot. I think he would last the distance because he wouldn't engage Kiltchko and would hold and stink out the joint to last the distance.

If Blood had developed his talent, I would say, yeah, he wins by UD. But he didn't, and Wladimir has been through, and mostly passed, the trials, so he wins by UD. But he won't knock Green out, that's for certain.

I wonder how Mitch Green of 5/20/86 (29 years of age) does against DaVarryl Williamson of 10/02/04 (36 years of age) ...

I would say Wlad is a helluva lot more talented than Mitch was.

I also give Wlad a decent shot of KO'ing him late. Mitch isn't going to win in the clinches in this one.

Unless it's a Harlem Street Fight outside of Dapper Dan's, Wlad wins this one easily. Probably the ref stops it around the eighth with Green hopelessly behind on the cards and not showing any signs of things improving for him.
