I sorta see it the same way. I still believe Valuev would be Wlad's toughest fight right now. I know Valuev sucks dick and all, but his chin is top notch, and he does have a good jab and workrate. Most of all it's size that will confuse Wlad the most. I think overall it has the makings of being a boring fight, a posefest if you will, something Wlad will win eveytime, we all seen the gay pictures of him and his brother playing hop scotch.:yep

Wlad probably wins by UD, but I could also see Valuev hurting Wlad early and Wlad going into his famous panic attack mode when the going gets tough, and the ref stopping the fight after Wlad hits the deck for the 3rd or 4th time.

Yeah. I think it's a fight that neither side really wants.
They might say they do, but come on... both of these guys have been walking around with their respective belts for a while now; yet, there's barely a whisper of this actually happening. When the topic is brought up, each side blames the other.

Wladimir Klitschko would probably win by a UD or a late TKO, Valuev could probably take Wladimir's shots ok early on but I don't know how he'll react to taking big shots all night. That's one of the factors that makes this fight interesting.

Wlad demolished fighters of his own size, McCline, Austin, Thompson.

McCline was beating Valuev until his knee gave out, Chagaev beat Valuev better than anyone else, neither would ever win a round against Wlad. Stylistic problems due to Valuev's size would only matter if they were somewhat similar in ability. Wlad is two classes above Valuev in skills, speed, reflexes, power. Plus Valuev rarely looked like a fighter who really wants to win, he seems so disinterested in the ring. Valuev couldn't use his size advantage against Haye, who came from beating on much smaller men. How will he effectively use his size against Wlad, who is bigger and more accustomed to fighting big men than Haye?

Valuev would eat hard right hands until his corner stops it in the mid rounds.

    :rofl

I'm guessing you're either American or from the UK somewhere to have such a ridiculous opinion on Valuev's superior technical skills.

Haye hurt the giant and so can Wladimir. Klitschko will dominate Valuev with the jab and occasional right hand then when Manny senses Valuev is ripe Wladimir will turn it up and stop him. Or Valuev can come out as SNV slipping Wladimirs punches to get on the inside and land a Tyson esque uppercut knocking Wladimir out in the first round

This is a bad matchup for Wlad, though he should win.

Wlad is a guy who's defense is his height, reach, and typically stepping or leaning back to avoid punches.

He can do this against he majority of opposition in the heavyweight division because he is bigger than all of them.

This is not the case with Valuev.

If Klitschko simply leans back, he will get hit. And since Klitscko is not prone to bending at the waist and his ring mobility is about the same as Valuev's, he will have a hard time getting away from Valeuv's punches no matter what he tries to do.

Keep in mind that Haye used excellent mobility, ducked many punches, and had all around great agility in his fight against Valuev. If he didn't use those skills, he would have been eating punches all night. Klitschko just does not possess that type of agility.

When he fought against Thompson for instance, a guy who was very close to Wlad's size, Wlad was exposed somewhat for his weaknesses given his inability to effectively go to Thompson's body, and the competitiveness of that fight, despite Thompson's obvious shortcomings.

Klitschko is also the more precise puncher, but his offense is typically composed of 1-2s. Valuev always has his hands in position to block these punches, so Wlad will have to rely more on left hooks, which he DOES throw, but also sometimes looping right hands to get around Valuev's guard, which I've never seen him throw.

Given the fact that Klitschko doesn't go to the body, and Valuev has a great chin, he will be in for a long night.

And given Klitschko's questionable resolve, it's possible that Valuev lands some long right hands, makes Klitschko hyperventilate and then knocks him out.

But I would guess that Klitschko has enough fight in him to last the distance and win a close decision.

    Remember, styles make fights.

Eddie Cotton, since everything in this fight is super-sized.

I honestly don't see Valuev winning, in any way. Valuev is not good at pressuring and he doesn't even have much of a puncher's chance.
I see Valuev winning against many heavyweights, but not Wlad or Vitali.
