Shavers was pretty washed up in that second Holmes fight. He was like 35 years old, looked at least a decade older, and suffering from eye trouble. The fact that he landed on a prime Holmes so late in the fight is pretty bad. Holmes was bieng very careless but he was never a defensive wizard anyway.
A lot more nimble? What does that even mean? Are you trying to claim Haye moved better and had better movement than Holmes? Whose Haye?. A nobody. A guy happier to retire rather than compete. He does nothing better than Holmes. Nothing. Larry moved fluidly and with graceful rhythm. Haye has very average footwork. I'm aware Wlads record is dismal so pretending Haye does things better than a genuine great like Holmes won't fly.
Wrong. Wlad faced a Holmes imitator in Williamson and failed so badly against him , he quit the fight. If Williamson befuddled him so badly , what do you think Holmes would of done to him. Williamson isn't quarter of the fighter Larry was.
I don't see Wlad having too much trouble getting a UD. He'd have to step it up to get the stoppage. Could be possible in a fifteen rounder.
Now I'm convinced that YDKSAB. Klitschko spends most of the night pawing with his jab. Holmes, OTOH, is recognized as having the best jab the HW division has ever seen. In the jab category, Holmes >>> Klitschko... You Klittards need to migrate back to Planet Klitschko...
Lol no"! Holmes should have been stopped by the ref because he couldn't see straight Shavers never dropped washed up Ali But he put prime Holmes on ***** Street Shavers really was **** Wlad destroys his overrated no big win having ass Tyson exposed him
Larry Holmes won the title at 200 lbs a cruiser weight. Wald isn't a hvyweight he's a super heavyweight totally different weight classes. :hat
