Using that same logic Lewis was knocked out by McCall & knocked the **** out by Rahman so Lewis should've had his head removed by Ruddock but it didn't go that way now did it?

Thanks for that dose of reality & sanity..................I swear the haters here would pick practically any Heavyweight in history to KO Wladimir with the first punch they threw. :patsch

Wlad has no chin. He is going to have to take bombs those 4-6 rounds, you see Walds chin holding up that long? I don't.

Ruddock would probably make the same "**** up" he did against Lewis and follow Wlad around with his gloves down and get blasted out by a right cross Derrik Jefferson style. If he couldn't use his size to smother you, Ruddock had no defense and his disappearing jab and zero workrate wouldn't do him any favors in this one.

Anyone who says Ruddock is anything less than a legitimate contender is surely on the pipe, or too young to remember how good he was. The version who got beat by Morrison was a shadow of himself, yet still nearly beat Tommy. That is the truth.
Quality fighter 'Razor', who in another era would likely have been champion!

He was a protected contender who got into the rankings with an exciting but shallow win over a washed up Doakes..the only top 10 fighter on his resume sadly. He was lucky Mike Tyson was fighting in slow motion. I remember the fights well, most everyone's impression was how terrible Tyson looked and his questionable mental state, not how fantastic Ruddock was. Lewis killed him. Morrison bounced him around the ring. End of story. Ruddock would never be a Champion.

With this statement you show you have no idea WTF you are talking about.

That fight was a rubber match, a great fight, but that Morrision won that fight off a HORRIBLE stoppage.

And you are totally full of sh-t when you say, "Mike was slow", if anything I remember everybody saying how good he looked and that Mike looked like he was back in tip top shape and focused and we was all gearing for him to fight Holyfeld.

Mike didn't start getting slow till he got out of jail.

Stop lying and making up ****. If you are too young to remember **** it's no fowl. But don't go making up **** to sound like you know what you are talking about.

In a different era he might be able to land a lucky punch & win a belt but he wouldn't hold it long. That's my honest opinion.

    Regarding Morrison vs. Ruddock:

Back & forth fight where both fighters had their moments but the best punch of the fight was thrown by Tommy & it nearly took Razor's head off. I believe Tommy was slightly ahead on the scorecards at the end of the fight.

So basically you give Ruddock no credit at all. Firstly yeah Tyson did look off in the first fight, but did'nt Razor add to that by meeting him head on. Something he did again in the rematch. Secondly i would pick that version to beat all of todays contenders. Lastly take Tyson and Holmes out of the 80s and Ruddock would have a better chance than most to be champion. That is my opinion.

Well it must be a valid comparision given that the vote is basically tied. if it were a goofy question wouldn't you think the vote would be zip for Ruddock? Sometime you have a habit of letting facts get in the way of your arguement. Ever notice that?

There is no E in argument, The fact that the vote is tied is more to do with hate of Wlad than the actual question.

Wlad is an accomplished, long reigning champion with multiple title defenses and has been unbeaten for 6 years while being at the top of the division.

Ruddock was a good contender who lost when stepping up. The comparison isnt even valid.
