its a decent question posed this one....unlike some recent ones we've had.
good responses and scenarios posted there.

i'd guess, maybe early 90s bowe to win late in the fight.

Bowe KO/TKO 6. Bowe had an elite jab that was faster than Wlad's. Competitive on the
outside, however Bowe will murder Wlad on the inside. Wlad likes his opponents to find his jab and power demoralizing and become passive as a result. Bowe was about as passive in the ring as he is at the buffet table nowadays. Wlad doesn't have the grit to win this certainly can't stop Bowe. Wlads a beast but Bowe eats him for breakfast.

Terrific match up..i narrowly go for Bowe..so hard to judge klit because no fighters around to test him..but at his peak Bowe was the real deal...sure he took some hits but he was a serious fighter at his peak...if he got close you were in trouble..shame what happened to him..even by boxing standards his decline has been alarming.

Of course you'd pick Bowe....He beat Tyrell Biggs.

I like Bowe by KO or stoppage in the middle rounds. Two big guys with good power. Bowe IMO has the more complete skillset. He can fight inside, outside and was effective at midrange. I also think Bowe is just tougher. Sometimes in boxing it comes down to who can take a better shot.

Referee would be a factor in how much he allows Wlad to lay on Bowe or hang on once the leather starts flying. It won't change the outcome but it may allow WK to last a little longer.

Okay, here's why I pick Wlad:
    1. His jab is much harder and Bowe would have trouble dealing with it.
    2. He'd simply go octopus when Bowe got close to him.
    3. Bowe is easy to hit.
    4. I'm skeptical of anyone whose career is defined by fights with Evander Holyfield. Holyfield made damn near everyone not named Mike Tyson or Buster Douglas look good against him. Holyfield had a limit to his power and was easy to hit. These ingredients made his average or good opponents look very good or great. It happened time and time again and Bowe did very little outside of the Holy trilogy.

Bowe would murder and i mean murder Wlad

Bowe is not some guy who Wlad is just going to hug/jab into submission, Bowe will not play by Wlads rules as do so many of his other opponents.

Wlads main strengths are his jab, size and hug, these would be very quickly nullified by Bowe. Bowe had a very good jab himself, im not sure of his reach compared to Wlads though. Bowe could also fight on the inside and he had a mean streak and he had agreat overhand right. I personally dont see Wlad surviving to see the final bell. Bowe has shown heart, he can go down and get up. Can Wlad?

Wlad is not going through this fight unscathed, even Golota had to take some big shots, will Wlad even get up if he goes down?

I agree on the result. Both guys are getting hit and I don't believe Wlad stands up to much at all from BigDaddy

If they had a serious of fights over the course of their careers I agree Wladimir would win the series. He has been disiplined and has stayed consistent and focused which isnt always easy to do against the scrub opposition he has been facing.

Usually when a Mythical Matchup is presented it is both fighters at their best or the peak of their powers. In that scenario I believe Bowe has too much. We know Bowe`s peak was criminally short and that is why he doesn`t get mentioned as an All Time great.

Trust and believe most of them would have trouble sparring with Bowe. Eddie would have to ask them to leave.

Anyway I was giving Wladimir credit for staying consistent and always being in shape {unlike Bowe} which can be especially difficult when he knows most of his opposition lack the boxing skills/coordination or talent to threaten him. Its a credit to his character.

Same way I see it. Bowe did have heart and toughness, but I don't see him succeeding in pulling Wlad into a brawl. Wlad's too disciplined for that- Riddick would eat a ton of punishment trying to get inside and Wlad's got superior movement and footwork.

He's was too hittable for Wlad, whose best offensive tools are exactly what Riddick's open for. I think Wlad takes this on points or possible late stoppage.
