Wladimir Klitschko vs Riddick Bowe - in their primes - Who wins?

bowe would try to fight at distance and eat some nasty jabs before finally saying goodnight on a vicious 1-2 around the 6th or 7th round.

Just in case you didn't notice, Bowe kind of took it easyon Larry, for whatever reason ( maybe a lttle guilty feeling for his cheap shots at the press conference).

Haye got through almost every time when he went for it and that made Wlad clinch excessively. If Wlad was a master jabber he wouldn't have relied on clinching as much as he did.
Wlad pushed Haye down so much he ended up being docked a point , that tells you all you need to know since Haye only attacked in occasional bursts
WK was so ineffective in hurting Haye that his fanboys pretended Haye ran all over the ring , but in fact Haye hovered around the same sport for all the fight. He didn't move anywhere near as much as Donald did. He doesn't have that type of footwork even if he wanted to.


'Donald fought much in the style of his hero, Muhammad Ali, but didn't throw enough punches nor land any hard ones in a fight he seemed more happy to survive than win.

Donald bounced on the balls of his feet almost the entire fight, throwing punches only in short flurries before either moving out of range again or tying Bowe up on the inside.

"Come one, come on," Bowe implored Donald throughout the fight.'

Bowe hasn't fought anyone close to prime Wlad. Except Lennox in the Olympics

 

Prime Haye decks Bowe at least twice in any given contest, just like Herbie Hide did. Bowe may win down the line but Haye was a monstrous hitter. Especially against a static heavyweight.

Team Haye were completely undone by Wlad's footwork and admitted as much later on.

Hide never decked Bowe. Hide was sprinting all over the ring , and was still dropped around 8 times in just 6 rounds.

 

I stand corrected. False memory syndrome there. He had him staggered and down once.

Bowe, however, is on record saying Hide is the hardest puncher he's faced. I think Haye it even harder in his prime.

 

He didn't have him down at all and staggering means to stagger around so i wouldn't agree with that either.
Hide landed a few shots when he let combos fly at blistering speed but Haye was awkward on the front foot and was only capable of throwing a 1-2 , which would often leave him off balance. Bowe destroys him.

I already posted the full fight for everyone to see, so I'm not sure why you're bringing up some post-fight comments. Bowe won the fight but looked like garbage doing so; the amount of rounds won or the punch stat numbers don't tell the whole story at all.

Why the hell would he take it easy on Donald? What do you have to support that allegation?

Bowe won the fight by throwing wild right hands and occasionally landing them, and being lucky he was in against a totally passive opponent who was happy to dance around the ring until the final bell. There was no high level jabbing game going on.

Wlad faced his biggest challenges throughout his career. Riddick threw his ****ing belt in the trash. Also lasted 3 days in the Marine boot camp. LOL
