No ***** boy. PRIME Wladimir was from age 29-36. That Wlad lost less rounds than Bowe did in his battles against cruiser weight Holyfield alone. I’ll be nice and not bring up the amount of rounds Bowe lost against Golota  Also against Hide who Vitali executed :)

Foreman was far slower than Wlad by the time he fought Holy and with all that weight he gained he ate jabs off loads of fighters, Holmes was just spoiling v Holy in a dreadful bout, Douglas hardly threw any jabs v Holy and Tyson was nowhere near Wlad`s level when he met Holy.

Both. He jabbed Haye at range and tied him up close.

Ali was a master jabber. He also routinely relied on clinching.

The fact that Haye was only able to attack in occasional bursts tell you a bit more, I think.

Yes, he doesn't have that type of footwork. Well done.

Yeah, Bowe really struggled with that guy. Not a good look.

That's how he always looked when forced to fight a moving target. His boxing iq and ring control were terrible.

Meanwhile God knows when Bowe's prime was. Apparently it was for one fight only, which makes him no better than any other one hit wonder. Perhaps we should be comparing him to Buster Douglas rather than bonafide greats like Wlad and Lennox.

not sure if i have replied on this thread before i have read the last 4 pages

    prime bowe is a myth

bowe was prime for such a tiny period of time all against hiolyfield

    thats it.

he was a talented but lazy fighter/ like fury he blew up between fights and he was not reliable to back

bowe fought galota for the first time when he was 29
he was fat/out of shape and was easily outboxed and outfought

second time he was in shape and got outboxed

v holyfield prime bowe used his size set a good pace and gave us 3 cracking fights

but that was it for bowe

his record before holyfield for his title fight was padded and ultra protected by newman

    his resume is weak

wlad had a long prime under steward/ was not as good to watch v bowe but you know what you are gwetting and that he will show up in shape ready to fight

bowe at 29 post holyfield was average.

too many soft touches by newman made bowe complacent but he was a good fighter

i have to pick wlad on the back of the golota fights

but i never head 10p on douglas to beat tyson / and that douglas for that one off fight would have beaten prime wlad/bowe /wilder and joshua

becos vitali and wald ar ethe same person. i guess your inference is that when he gets koed fast again he will ring his brother to fight for him.

try and post something that makes sense.

Was Golota a superior athlete with superior skills to Riddick though? Or to Wlad? Because he was killing Bowe.

On the basis of this thread I rewatched the Bowe v Golota fights yesterday and the for the most part they were a brutal ass-whopping on Bowe.

The first knock down in fight 2 wasn't heavy as such, but it was horrible. It showed just how permantly damaged Bowe was by that point.

Bowe was miles better than limited Peter, and we saw what Peter did to Wlad.

As soon as Wlad stops his track meet around the ring (let's say rd 6), Bowe puts him out of his misery with a merciful right uppercut on the inside followed by a crushing left hook.

Wlad's body lies flat on the apron, and Vitali rushes to administer CPR just in case.

Once Wlad regains his spirits, Vitali breathes a sigh of relief, then turns his head towards Bowe, marches up to him and before you can say cheese, headbutts him and splitts his skull wide open. He then ko's all of Bowe's hanger-ons and grabs the mic stating he loves his brother.

Wlad was miles better than nutjob Golota, and we all saw what Golota did to Bowe. That line of argument is foolish.

What track meet? Wlad's going to stand his ground and establish his jab in the centre of the ring, same as he always does.

Your argument is sounding increasingly childish and petulant.
