Wouldn’t have a choice, kinda like Corrie Sanders didn’t give him a choice, but different

A in shape Riddick Bowe does what Corrie Sanders did to Wlad. Put him to bed in a few rounds. Bowe could take a punch , could punch and was aggressive. Bowe also had good stamina for a big man. Wlad has a good punch, no chin, and **** poor stamina. I don't see how Wlad could last more than a few rounds with Bowe.

Klitschko's footwork would run rings around Bowe. Bowe was a plodder who liked to have smaller guys come to him. The first time he fought a world class heavy like Golota he got wrecked horribly. Not once, but twice.

Bowe could not out jab Wlad, he would be reduced to following Wlad around the ring like he followed Larry Donald, like a little puppy following a hotdog stand. I give Bowe a good chance vs a hotdog stand, not so much against one of the longest reigning world champions in history. Golota, who is a much lesser fighter to Wlad, destroyed Bowe's jab. He clocked him over and over and set up the 1-2 that dropped Bowe off the jab. Wlad is a much more punishing puncher than Golota, and Bowe has no defence.

The folks thinking Bowe runs Wlad down and wrecks him inside are living in la-la land. You need much better footwork than Bowe ever displayed to close off Wlad and slug inside with him. If Golota was able to tie Bowe up, then believe me that Wlad could too. That's his speciality.

Truth is Bowe was a bully who fought dirty and liked fighing little guys.

He never fought anybody like Wlad because he dumped his belt into a trashcan with urine running down his leg when he had to fight somebody comparable like Lewis.

That tells us all we need to know about Bowe.

sanders was a plodder too. a retiured shot plodder by then, not prime elite like bowe.

but the ref tripped wlad in that fight so the rest is history.

Corrie Sanders and Riddick Bowe were nothing alike.

If Wlad blows his load trying to get Bowe out of there then it's a possibility. If he chooses to box smart what the hell is Bowe going to do?

When did Bowe become this lethal first round knockout artist? He couldn't stop Hide till the sixth round and couldn't even knock down Donald through twelve. Golota wrecked him. His only early rounds knockouts came against guys who were shorter than him and not particularly good. Anyone tall that could box a bit gave him fits.

Your reading of Bowe is based off of make-believe.

This is an accurate representation of Bowe, not this unstoppable juggernaut of popular imagination. His inside fighting abilities were good, but only if fighters were short and squat and needed to come to him. Against Wlad Bowe would be forced to trade jabs, and there's only one winner there (hint to Dino, it's not Bowe!!).

You know what good fighters Bowe would do well against?

90s Tyson, Tua, Morrison, Moorer, Povetkin, Haye and possibly Chris Byrd (Byrd could make him look foolish though).

You know who he looks like crap against?

Lennox, Wlad, Vitali, Fury and Joshua.

    There's a trend I'm getting at there.

All of Bowes four chins were superior to Wlads chiselled one

Bowe didn't have an especially great chin. He got rocked a lot. Two cruiserweights badly hurt him.

That’s why said but different. I think Bowe would get his jab going enough to disrupt Wlad’s rhythm. He can go to war which means eventually he closes the distance. From there it’s much more variety of shots from RB and we all know how Wladt reacts when he gets hit. Would not be a two round blitz like Corrie more like a pile it on TKO around six or eight. Wlad sucks (just my opinion)

Bowe was already shot to pieces aagainst Golota. You really think Wlad has greater footwork than Holyfield?

Bowe can win, but he's going to take a lot of punishment and Wlad beats him in the rematch.
The HW division was strong in the 90's but Riddick didn't meet any of Tyson, Lewis, Mercer, Morrison, McCall or Ruddock. Not even Big George. He only took on Golota because he thought he'd walk through the unproven Pole.

Riddick took too much punishment vs Evander and was finished by the age of 29. That tells you something. He just left a lot of question marks. Lewis met Holyfield twice. Wlad lost a few fights, but he wasn't finished by them. He bounced back with the help of Steward, like Lewis did, and took charge of the division.

i am pretty sure that wlad wins rematch though, because bowe was messed up very fast in his career.

but obv prime bowe smashes out a guy who got easily destoryed by many middlers in his prime. He is 3-4 times the fighter h2h that wlad is.

but wlad is so much better at longevity, bowe's prime's longevity was only a few years whilst wlads was about 3-4 times that - truly remarkable. Bowe could only dream of such ability in longevity and career management.

Each fighter has their own assets unique to what makes them - there is no need to invent them.

Bowe fans do not pretend that Bowe had great longevity so Wlad fans snould not pretend his H2H ability was great.

only by being honest can we see truth.
