Prime Golota gave Bowe all sorts of fits, Klitschko is much better then Prime Golota. Klitschko by knock out, although it can go either way depending what Bowe does.

Bowe is the single most overrated pro HW fighter of the last 25 years. I say "pro" because Bowe was an incredibly talented amateur but something must have gone wrong in his head (discipline, self-confidence, alcohol?) because in comparison to his amateur track record his pro record is embarrassing and his achievements as a pro boxer are light years away from what he could have achieved if he had his head screwed on the right way.

Let's face it: A prime Bowe couldn't deal with Golotha's jab -- a Polish street thug fighter and nightclub bouncer. How would Bowe deal with Wlad's jab?

Wlad would easily win this fight via UD12.

Excuse me, but Bowe first faced Golota a full 9 months after winning a TKO versus a prime Holyfield. How much can the skills of a boxer deteriorate in 9 months? Would Bowe have done better if it only had been say 6 months?

Wladimir KlitschKO by KO! If Golota managed to outbox Bowe, imagine what would Wladimir do to him.

You're right. After his third brutal ring war with Holyfield and years of abusing his body, and under the context that he would never do anything significant afterward, he was at his absolute peak when he faced Golota. My mind has been changed.

In a trilogy, Wlad wins two fights. The very best version of Bowe, from the first Holyfield fight, can win. Due to his mentality, Bowe would never be able to come up in that prime version for more than one fight. Wlad might lose the first fight, learn from it, improve and come back much better.

Bowe is the better fighter. He could give and take and no way Wladimir was able to do the same as Golota did. You guys forget, that he took some big shots from Bowe. Shots that Wladimir no way would´ve survived.

I'm going Klitschko because he would have fought exactly the same way Lewis did, which would have made Bowe **** his pants.

How is Bowe the better fighter? Wlad has a better jab, better straight right hand, better control of range, more one - punch power. Bowe was a great inside fighter, that is his one advantage over Wlad. He couldn't throw a staright punch if his life depended on it. The one big puncher Bowe faced was Golota. Taking shots from Holyfield showed a lot of heart, but not so much about his chin. Maybe there was a good reason why Bowe never fought Lewis, Tyson or another big puncher.

Wlad has an ordinary chin, but it's not like he gets knocked out cold from one punch.
