Wladimir Klitschko vs. Riddick Bowe. Prime for Prime. Who wins?

when guys are matched up like this....heres how i look at it....
if they fought 10 times, they win 5 each. impossible to speculate.

 

hard to predict this one. they both hit hard and they're tall. I think bowe might pull it off on the inside but at the same time wlad could throw that right hand and end it as well. can't say.

 

Exactly. Speculations nothing more. They both can rip each other heads off. and we don't have that kind of information that can clear this out for us.

 

I liked Riddick, but his mental was never there for me. For him to be mentally prepared to go to war with a guy the size and skill of Wlad, I just don't see it. Remember when he joined the Marine Corps for 11 days?

 

This would be a good scrap. Wlad could jab with Bowe and I think his power is on par with Big Daddy. But Bowe has the decided advantage in toughness, I can't envision Wlad hanging around and taking the type of beating that Bowe did in either of his fights with Golota. I lean towards Bowe by ko but I also think that Wlad could hurt him so its going to be a good fight. The difference is Wlad will fight cautious and Bowe will go for it, so that is why I pick Bowe..

What happens after Bowe sucker punches Wlad at the press conference? I want to know what happens when Wlad is boxing a clinic only to look up and see a lunatic descending from the heavens with a huge fan on his back!!!!

I want to know what happens when a second rushes the ring and smashes a walkie-talkie on the back of Wlad's head after he scored a knockdown over Bowe. I want to know what happens when Wlad looks into the crowd and sees Jesse Jackson watching intently? What happens when blacks and poles begin rioting in the stands and throwing charis? Wlad has never faced anyone like this before, the odds are stacked too highly against him.

Why is Wladimir Klitschko so highly rated who has he fought? ANSWER nobody's people on here compare him with the legends based on what? He is a boring gun shy boxer with a good jab and left hook that he never throws, no chin that was destroyed by three average boxers. Riddick bowie was an excellent fighter who could box on the outside and mix it on the inside as well, great chin and good power and at his best in the holyfield fights would've knocked Vlad out. Bowe had all the tools to be great except between the ears had he'd been smarter he could have matched Lennox Lewis.

 

Bowe lacks ring intelligence and is basically way too undisciplined and stupid to beat to mix it up at the top level.

Wlad demolishes a prime Bowe and makes it look easy.

Bowe was the UNDISPUTED HW champ at only 24, he's still the only man to have won all 4 major belts at HW.

The Holyfield fights are prime examples of how stupid Bowe was. Didn't use his reach, didn't use his height. Didn't use his jab. Didn't use footwork.

He gave away *ALL* his natural advantages, allowing Holyfield to get in the fight.

Tell me one thing: Why would a tall, gifted fighter like Bowe get into a crouched position, lower his chin down and fight with a much smaller man toe-to-toe? What's the rationale?
