Bowe was past his best by the time he fought Golata, the amount of punishment he took in both fights was horrific.

Wlad has beaten plenty of former Cruiserweights. Just like Bowe has. Is that what you mean? :hi:

Same Holyfield who was considered, old, shot and washed up by most of the world in his very next fight against Tyson?

Bowe put in a tremendous effort and showed tons of heart in that fight, despite being past his best and getting his ass kicked. Wlads never had a chance to show his heart, because by that time, hes already been knocked out.

Bowe was never knocked out and dropped only once or twice. His only loss was to Holyfield.
Wladmir has been knocked out 3 times by people nobody will ever remember.

Only in Klitland can a fighter whose been knocked out 3 times have a better chin than a guy whose never been stopped.

Bowe probably showed too much heart for his own good in the rematch with Golota.

I remember being worried that he would die in the ring. The beating he took was horrible.

Unfortunately for Golota, not only was he a headcase, but also a poor finisher.

    Bert Cooper & Bruce Seldon

You asked earlier why Bowe didnt fight Mercer. He was due to fight him as his 2nd defense, Mercer fought Jesse Ferguson as an eliminator & got beat so Bowe fought Ferguson instead.

Bowe overrated. Got his ass handed to him by Golota in a real brawl, IN HIS PRIME. not just some lucky cheap shot.

We know his ceiling. Wlad is bigger, more athletic, with better fundamentals. Wlad beats him

19-9 when Bowe smashed him up:bart

Huge, Mercer was an annoying talent. When he trained hard & was motivated he looked outstanding, when he didnt he looked like ****.

After he destroyed Morrison he vacated the WBO strap to fight for all the marbles, he overlooked Ferguson & got beat. Losing to Holmes was a big upset as well, I think that was an eliminator too.

After losing to Holy Bowe was frozen out of the title picture, thats why he ended up fighting the likes of Mathis, Gonzalez & Hide.

A fight I really wish could have happened. Either guy would have had a good chance of stopping the other, but I think that Wlad would end up putting Bowe to sleep somewhere late in the fight.
