Lewis got a point deducted against Tyson but that didn't stop him. Lewis strategically held and leaned on Tyson until the point where Tyson was completely gassed and ripe for being picking off from a distance.

Had Tyson had more stamina Lewis would have leaned and grabbed him 100 times if necessary. It's the Manny Steward school of boxing.

I know, I watched it. I still don't think the clinching was as excessive as in the Peter/Wlad fight. Lewis was in complete control against Tyson, Wlad wasn't. Hitting the canvas 3 times, having panic attacks, and turning his back to his oppenent. I feel thats the difference between the two fights.

Roughly the second round of the second Golota fight.

That's when Bowe tucked his junk between his legs & ran for the hills...

I'd have to go with Wlad based on his patience.

Riddick Bowe had potential but both Klitschkos surpassed him on the Heavyweight ATGs list. Remember when Bowe fought Jorge Luis Gonzales? Imagine if either Klitschko tried to fight that bum for a title defense.....................

The Golata fight shouldn't be factored into this one.... Eddie Futch was no longer in his corner, Riddick had gotten lazy on training, and Golata was hitting him in the groin, which was weakening Bowe as the two fights went on... Turn the clock back to 1992, place Futch back in Bowe's corner, and force Golata to keep his hands above the belt, and we'd see a different outcome...

That said, I am going with Riddick Bowe over Wladimir Klitschko.. Bowe was never stopped and lost only once to an all time great whom he beat twice... His chin and power are more than proven and his infighting game might prove to be problematic, should he breach Wlad's comfort zone... I do feel that he might fall behind on the cards early, due to Wlad's boxing ability, slight reach, and strait jab, which would trouble Bowe with a poor defense... As time goes on though, i think Riddick finds a way to get in, land some big shots and wears down Klit for a late stoppage around 10 or 11..

Bowe couldn't handle Golota's power & Wlad has more than Golota & the disciplne & accuracy to find that opening & knock Bowe out. Bowe had **** poor stamina throughout his career too.

Again, Bowe had **** stamina so that theory goes out the window. Bowe simply takes too many punches from guys that weren't nearly as accurate or as powerful as Wladimir. Are you saying Holy hits harder than Wlad?

Bowe's stamina wasn't that bad really... In 45 pro bouts, he never failed to finish a fight, and in truth, fought in some pretty high paced bouts where the punch stats were off the charts.... As for your question about Holyfield hitting harder, I really don't know where the question came from, I never said anything about him being the bigger puncher, but I do think he was a better fighter.. His Heart, Chin, conditioning, workrate and skills are truly among some of the very best.. I suppose if Wlad boxes a masterful fight, he might take a decision, but I don't see him stopping Bowe, and if he tries to get courageous, he may very well get stopped himself.... I think this bout boils down to toughness frankly.....

:patsch:patsch u cant be serious , golota's chin was very solid , he got knocked 2 times in the first round cuz of his mental problems which made him stiff and defenceless in the beginning of each fight.

Well that's a fair enough opinion but I disagree about Bowe's stamina.

Golota's chin was alright but no better than Wlad's. Both are roughly average
