How do you see this SHW match up going down? The two men pose huge stylistic weaknesses that can be exploited. Bowel has no defensive skills at all which is suicide against the sharp punching Klitschko. However Wladimir has no inside game at all which is suicide against the infighting Bowe. We saw Klitschko rally from 3 knockdown to almost stop Peter in the final round. We saw Bowe rally from a horrific 2nd round to outlast Golota. The most similar style to Wladimir that Bowe faced was Golota who had a very hard jab and a lazer of a right hand. The most similar style Wladimir faced was Brewster who stopped him in his prime. I think Wladimir does better against the field of opposition than Bowes does (especially of he's allowed to hold like he did in his own era) but who does better in this fight right here?
Bowe wasn't in his prime when he fought Golota. The years of him gaining a lot of weight between fighters and then losing it caught up to him. Wlad was in his prime when Brewster, Sanders, and Purrity knocked him out. Wlad was in his prime when Peter knocked him down 3 times. Wlad can't take pressure. The moment you put it on him he runs away terrified. Bowe is overrated because of his Holyfield wins but against Wlad it wouldn't matter. He would walk through him and stop him. Probably quicker than Sanders did.
Wlad jabs Slow Bowe's face to pieces, setting up the eventually right cross that puts the lights out. In reality though Bowe would probably look to avoid him just like he avoided all the power punchers in his own era.
Bowe 6'5 230, Brewster 6'1 220. Weren't the same height and didn't fight anything a like. I am biased? Right because it hurts you when people say your Boxing hero was and is a joke? Wlad couldn't take less punches from less powerful people but he would take Bowe's punches? Right. If Sanders could beat Wlad in 4 minutes then Bowe would it it just as quick. Unless Bowe tried to run like he did for the last 10 years because he realizes he can't take a punch. Then Bowe stops him in 3 rounds.
Lol Dozens? Yeah Wlad beating Derrick Jefferson, Ray Austin and other hand picked opponents was amazing huh?
