The weight difference between Klitchko and Marciano is the same as between Marciano and Yuriokis Gamboa. All great fighters but why even consider the matches?

cause people are dumb...they think the size differential between fighters ends in 1952 and before that, all fighters are better regardless of size and physics (physics being a ***** that wouldn't have lasted 5 rounds in benny leonards era and only 2 in rocky's era)

Gamboa couldn't hurt anybody above LHW. Guys that small cant generate enough power.
Punching a bodyweight of 190 pounds and above is enough to to drop a man of any size and weight.
Those two heavys who just fought tonight couldn't crush a grape and would of been absolutely shattered by Rocky.

The only thing missing in this thread is Inquisitive posting in it.

true but there is still a limit to this. i would still compare it to the difference between dwight qwai vs julian jackson. or michael spinks vs marvin hagler. or even nigel benn vs sugar ray leonard...when leonard was a welterweight.

would anyone doubt the outcome to any of these matches? even the latter? leonard at 147 was P4P a much higher fighter than benn but the size difference would/could well spell doom for leonard.

the same here: the size difference may/probably/is too big to compensate

There is also the fact that Wladmir is leagues ahead of Rocky in boxing skill, which for me, makes the difference here.

Not only that, but at this point Wladmir has become the greater fighter.

A greater fighter? Rocky remained undefeated and beat the better opposition.

I don't see much skill in Wladimir take away his reach and he is no world champion.

Is there scientific studies or research to support that theory?

Take Rockys power away and he still has his endurance, relentless attacking, chin and most importantly his mental strength which was greater then his physical strength you "dick".

Wlad has been the best heavyweight for the past 7 years, longer than Marciano had a career. In that time Wlad has only lost a handful of rounds. If Marciano had a career spanning 17 years, against internationally elite fighters for the bulk of that time, how many losses would he have accumulated? Marciano was a little better than a flash in the pan as was dictated by his style and physical limitations.

Wlad has great skills, throws textbook punches, even hooks off the jab, and displays immaculate footwork. Highly skilled.

Not true Wlad is more skilled seamus.
Walcot was infinity more skilled than Wlad and thought he would have an easy night with Rock.
Moore admited he was out witted and out classed.

Marciano would easily be 200 +pounds without the abnormal amount of roadwork he put in to stay at that desired weight for the opponents he was fighting.
