Watch what happened to Wlad when the ref forced him to stop hugging and leaning against Brewster.

So then you believe that virtually all heavyweights under 200 pounds would fall short against Wladamir?

No. I mean, being frank, I can't believe that's your deduction. That's a ludicrous deduction based upon what I wrote to be honest. I spelled it out for you once, but here it is again:

Trapsmiths, maybe, box-movers, certainly, but swarmers overcoming this type of size advantage? It just doesn't happen enough to be a meaningful pick IMO.

Almost all would but thats because Wlad has established himself as an all time great, which by definition means he would beat almost any heavyweight in history.

He has gone unbeaten for 10 years, fought top ranked contenders almost exclusively, barely lost a roundÂ… How many heavies can say that?

I wish I could say it that even mildly surprises me that people have zero historical context, but I learned long ago that most folks are simps.

I readily acknowledge everything you state about Wlad. He just didn't beat Puritty and Sanders though.

    And Johnson didn't beat Choynski.

And not calling you a simp, just saying we need to appreciate Waldo's accomplishmentsÂ… pretty goddamned amazing regardless of style and excitement points.

It's Wlads longevity that will be most appreciated after he retires. He has physical advantages over just about every Heavyweight champion ever. His KO percentage is among the best. He has dominated most of his fights. His losses tell much about his weaknesses as well. And yes, I think he's to big and to good for Marciano.

Amen to that...The heavyweight division talentwise is very dreary.

In all seriousness though, Rocky ldid have a preventable childhood illness that likely stunted his growth. I don't know that it negatively affected his career in any way.
