Probably the best argument I've seen for Marciano in this thread.

 

It's not really an uncommon opinion. Where do you rank Rocky?

I think Walcott would beat him. Charles would have a chance. A raw Wlad might lose to hard punching Layne or Eddie Ross.

This is assuming he adjusts to the 15 round era. If he doesnt increase his stamina and drop a lil weight, might be even more suspect

Marciano was arguably beaten by a 50% winning record journeyman who weighed around180lbs. How does 5 feet 10 and a bit Rocky ,head butt 6 feet 6 Wlad? Does he climb on the referee's shoulders to do it?

A 32 years old guy with over a 100 fights on his clock, a fighter who was better at lightheavy.
A 38 years old Champ who needed 4 attempts to win the title and retired immediately after his fights with Rocky.
A 37 years old,past it ex champ who was fighting because he was broke,and retired mmediately after their fight.
A 39 years old guy who again was better at light heavyweight.
Does Cokkell go 9 rds with Wlad?
Does Lastarza go 11rds?
Moore 9rds?
Wlad has 8 inches in height on Rocky,13 inches in reach, and over 50lbs in weight,think about that for a moment.
