He is rated that high for many reasons but one of those reason is there is no quit in Marciano, no looking for the exits blank stares when hurt, no falling apart stupid ko losses Wlad has x 3. What are the qualities of a great fighter? Courage, the ability to take punishment and hard blows and not fall apart, will to win, ability to deliver hard ko punches, the ability to block, slip, feint, parry and then counter to vital areas of an opponents body. we all know Marciano can take a punch and won't quit. We also know that Wlad can't take a punch and more than likely will not do well when a heavy punch hits his chin.
agreed. wlad fights great and beats his opposition. rocky did the same. if they fought, wlad would beat rocky
The qualities of an all time great fighter have been handed down over many years. These are what the great boxing historians and trainers looked for when a fighter is touted as being great. Wlad ain't great. In a real tough fight he more than likely will lose. Greatness is spelled out during tough times not when slapping around tomato cans.
