Then Rocky may as well get the "Classic treatment" where we extend his legs and arms by several inches using surgery and pump him full of steroids for a couple of years., to even the field.

    That 6 feet 6 and 81 inches and 245-ish pounds trumps 5 feet 10, 68 inches and 185-ish pounds.

Wlad beats the **** out of Marciano, the difference in athleticism and skills is simply enormous...

I actually don't see Wlad as more skilled. He's better skilled at out-boxing, not more skilled. The amount of physical awkwardness from both the disparity in size and the emphasis on that disparity in their styles would cut against either/both men, potentially. What Klitschko got away with as far as clinching and maybe much more importantly, leaning /draping would be the most important factor in picking a winner. If he gets the benefit of that, it's a 90-10 for Wlad. Fine. If he were forced to fight Marciano and not jump on his back and hug him like he were a prime Ann-Margret, the one-two's might not even really connect enough to stop big shots from unraveling him.

I mean, yes, they might. It might prove too much size even then, but I think it's one of those things where many can't imagine it because they misunderstand what they're looking at. Marciano isn't small and unskilled. He's small and very skilled, and dynamic in his awkward movements, and the amount of physical and mental resilience isn't exactly comparable to Mormeck but still good. Mormeck was more tested, so he probably did better than Marciano would have. But not dynamically as well. French fighters have always been physically superior to Italian fighters. This is ethnic realism. Italians are still recovering from the gene mutations after Vesuvius and Pompeii and that whole fiasco. The media lies about that. But that is still an ongoing issue.
