He also got off the floor to stop a prime Shavers ...

Foreman and Bugner both said he was the hardest hitter they ever faced ...He definately has a punchers chance v.s. Wlad ...

This is an interesting match-up -and no revisionism is necessary. Styles make fights. I don't particularly like Wlad in there against a big punching, aggressive, hard man like Lyle most assuredely was. He ain't about to come in like a punching bag sans the chain like Sam Pizza.

If he catches Wlad with that overhand right, Wlad's chances of surviving what follows is slim to none (and Slim just told me "fahgetaboutit").

His problem is going to be the Wlad totem-pole jab. Lyle can slip it and does have some ability to combine the fields of boxing, but he eats too many. Wlad may cloud his head enough with redundant jabs and then lower the boom.

Shavers was chinny and punched himself out. Lyle was landing bombs on him from the start and if he hit as hard as is thought, Shavers should of been out of there early ala Quarry.
